whats your temps at? Warm? Looks like theres a little purple in the PK, get the temps down and i bet shell put on a show for ya, should help with tricombs too :):):)

OMG awesome idea, scratch and sniff computer screens. No reason to use air filters. to your nosy neighbor " GO AWAY, its not pot ahole, I just surfing the internet and ive been checking some pot pics on google with my scratch and sniff screen, mind your own damn business, its legal AHOLE!"

forgive my ignorance, but can you take a branch off her and graft it then seed that one bud out ?

Good lord bro! I didn't know where ya went! Lol. Yeah, shhhhh I'm not in a "legal" state either. Haha.. ;) its all good though, I guess we gotta do what we where "born" 2 do!! I have been using the GH products myself. I have and am using the "liquid" koolbloom now. For the most part, from what I've seen thus far it seems to be working good! Now there's 1 product that I've used here recently(past 8 months) its "Nirvanas" soil/coco "bloom enhancer". That stuff isn't worth even opening up & wasting your time mixing it!! Imho of course. Lol

please help me out people, I don't know if im over doing it or not and I wanna get this room finished.

almost done building my room, its roughly 5' 11" high x 22" deep x 3' 6" wide.
im gonna run 2 general hydroponics waterfarms (hydro drip systems) in there. 400-600 watt hps.
I have walls and ceiling up (its under stairs in basement) . all joints are sealed with white silicon.
behind all the walls and ceiling I have either rigid foam or batt insulation.
gonna mylar the walls and ceiling as soon as I decide what to do, and linoleum the floor (white).

my question is, should I put rigid foam insulation on the walls on the inside of my room then mylar on top of that?
or just mylar the inside walls with no insulation?
I have limited amount of space to work with as it is and don't wanna lose more even if its 1/2 to inch on every inside wall if I don't have to.
not sure if im overdoing it since I have insulation on the outside of the room on all walls and ceiling.
or should I really insulate the inside too?

wanna ask here instead of grow room forum since I think i'll get better responses.

what ever you do just make sure you have a way to get fresh air into that sealed room. Idk why youd insulate it really. And if it gets hot in there...which it will when the hps is rockin a/c is always a good idea. Dont overthink it, just make sure it will be functional. Functionality is more important than mylar.

I guess you could, I would say that "during flowering" it would be mighty hard "just like cloning during full bloom or re-vegging a plant in full bloom" is harder then when there in "veg" period. I believe if I could get the pollen here of the Jack Herer, I will still have enough time to get a few seeds off one of her(Belladonna#1's lower branch, being where there just now shooting out pistols & bud isn't really forming all that much yet. But I would say I couldn't do it if I wait another "week". Same for all the rest of the girls. If I don't get the pollen when those "1st pistols" come out and the 2 tiny hairs that come outta the calyx, if I wait to long, then those 2 hairs will just die off, then its to late to cross!

Well, if it where me, I would insulate the walls, (to keep either the cool in during summer, heat during winter) then just do you "mylar" over top of that. Just have your "air flow" and your grow should turn out great!! Hope that helps alittle. ;)

I have a can fan 270 cfm fan, fan controller (gonna run fan at 50-80 percent for noise reduction), phresh filter 200 cfm. sealed hood light.
4" exhaust port, and 6" intake port.

ninja says why insulate, dank says insulate. :( hear that noise ???? that's me smacking my head against the wall :)
i do appreciate you guys responding, i know its sometimes just personal preferences.
anyone else with opinion pleaseeee share.

oh and i have a 10" 4way oscillating fan for inside too.

Well, like said that's just what "I" would do. Again reason being (energy saving) keeping your cool/heat locked in, and with the insulation up, it would do just that.. :mrgreen:

Other then that your setup sounds good bro. And on the "light" I would go with the 600 watt HPS for flowering, and during veg I would use either a 600 to 800 watt MH. That should be plenty of light for that small of grow room, if the walls have the mylar, flat white paint works well for this also.. ;)

i already have a 400 hps bulb (galaxy grow digital ballast 400/600 watt) i was planning on going with that for the whole grow till i figured out how hot my room would get (and had more money). then upgrade to 600 watts if airflow could cool the space. spent around 1500 so far.

thing that makes me wonder about the insulation the most is i don't have a lot of depth in the room, and i have read that if the plant touches the wall it can cause mold issues. And if this is true then saving that extra inch could help a little.

btw its hard to not overthink this when i have OCD :) i have to feel pretty confident about what i do or it just doesn't feel right. I haven't touched the room in 3 days because i can't decide what to do :(
