Temp vs Humidity

40-50% during flowering...

i heard you wanna drop the humidity levels to 25-30rh when in flowering faze. This way the plants think they need to add more resin glands to protect the plants leaves, buds, etc.. More resin ='s more high...up to you tho.

I have never heard of this anywhere. Where did you hear this? It is agreed on by the experts that 40-50% is optimum. If you go too low, you risk spider mite infestation. FAQ + Google = = = ...ya dig???

Yea but I cant control the heat. I was thinking this will be my last grow befor summer hits.....Didn't know if I should even try to grow when the temps hit in the hundreds. If Plants WILL grow and not be a waste of time I would do it.

Keep your veg cycle as close to 40% and your temp as close to 78 deg unless your are supplementing co2/your plants can handle a higher temp up to 84 deg ideal with supplemental co2. keep you flowering room the same.

you're cool as hell DocVanDank , but i have to disagree with ya on one important point. that 40% RH value you quoted as being for the veg cycle is actually the number you shoot for during flowering (40-50%). check it out. for the veg cycle you want about 75%, definitely over 60.

for veg you want a high humidity. i can get mine as high as 80% naturally. flower the lower the better. flower i run 87 degrees with my hum at 32%. most of the time my hum. is 26%. all naturally. this is how to get the dense hard buds.
