sorry for posting the same thing but i cant seem to find how to delete old posts. I figured since I didnt get any replies it was in the wrong place... ok so I just wanna grow like 2 indica plants, how big of a grow area do I need? Can I just build that area into a box of how big it needs to be? ex: if you were to say 2" x 2" I would build a wooden box that was 2" x 2" . Any tips or suggestions would be helpful thanks...if this is in the wrong place please direct me to the right one

It depends on your lighting and how large you'd like the plants to get. Indoors you have control over the photoperiod and you can exploit this to force the plants to flower at your discretion. I would say the bare minimum for 2 plants would be about 18"x12", but you can go as large as the lighting allows.
150w HPS = 1.5'x1.5'
250w HPS = 2'x2'
400w HPS = 3'x3'
600w HPS = 4'x4'
1000w HPS = 5'x5'
Fluorescents are basically good for what is directly beneath them. I think for you, if you wanted to do two plants of small stature that a 2'x4-bulb T5 unit would be fine and would fit (more or less) into a 2'x2' area. This unit could then be used down the road to start seedlings and clones once you get yourself set up with a legitimate HID lighting system.

Thats a great question because it shines a light on just how many variables there are in this endeavor .
point being
ya got pheno types.. indicas can mature at a few feet tall n wide whereas sativas may need 14 feet of space per plant.
flat grows vs verticle grows? how ya going to get your lighting delivered?
etc. etc. etc.

so ya gotta come out n say this is what i wanna achieve weight wise.... waddya think folks? Then you can count on someone hooking u up with some credible info....

Basically the more into you can give us the better
Whats your budget? do you want a clone chamber too?
You can build a stealth dresser that is roughly 3ft tall x 2.4ft x 1.5ft with flowering chamber, cloning chamber and automated hydroponic feeding for around $500
Harvests like 4 ounces every 5 weeks, sounds like it might suit your situation

Have a read around mate there are no shortcuts in life. Watch some how to grow vids on YouTube, if you familiar yourself with the basics you'll produce something half decent.

And yes you will need 2 rooms as large and extravagant as you can afford. It's better to have all your options and take away then to have to try and add.

two foot height, take away the size of the light, the size of the pot, the size of the (fully grown) plant, doesn't leave much (any) room. Try cooled 400w ,1x1x1.5mtr, veg a while, lst. I don't know I'm not an expert.
