I root pruned kd that's the Sour D. Root ball was getting crazy. In gonna see how she does. The sour Plato has a few branches tired down, Minor LST, I'M a rookie so I don't want to do to much. I want a success under the belt. The head band was naturally bushy although both have been moderately super cropped. As for heat it hasn't been an issue grow room floats around between 83 to high 60's mostly on the low end and I have a humidifier running so I'm good there.i'd get in there, take out all stems/leaves/new growth that is not going to make it past the top of your canopy. so everything on the lower 1/3rd of the plant from the first node. Also would do some LST, try to spread those plants out a bit, will help with air flow. Heres a good overview of cannabis training Link
Would go another week after you prune/train before doing the flip.
FYI, if you move your extraction fan to the outside of your tent your temps in the tent will drop a degree or so. <3
I would not bring scissors anywhere near those plants.
I would, however, bend them down to spread out the canopy to allow deeper light penetration and enhance air flow.
This is my personal preference, and there is sure more than one way to skin a cat.
I have grown out RP's Headband, and you need to know that it is fairly stretchy in flowering.TThe finished buds are quite tasty and potent, great flavor.Good Luck.
bad idea, sorry dude, but this isnt the way to go. let it flower with all the leaves and stems of lower plants, that will be the first place nitrogen is sucked from, which will give you buds allot more time to get bigger and let the fan leaves with the bud yellow slower.i'd get in there, take out all stems/leaves/new growth that is not going to make it past the top of your canopy. so everything on the lower 1/3rd of the plant from the first node. I just super cropped them two days ago do I'm going to wait another two days then flip them.thanksfor the reply that's just whatIIs that a 4x4x8 tent?
It looks like those two plants are taking up most of the square footage in that tent already and the 600w can only penetrate so deep.I would flip now.
Can you called my idea bad? You leave popcorn stems on so the plant can "suck" the nitrogen from them? that is only applicable during flushing. removing popcorn branches etc will focus more energy to the apical bud sites and result in larger buds. when he starts flushing the plant will draw nutrients from bottom to top yes, but the idea behind flushing is to stave the plant so there is very little residual nutrients left. leaving lots of undergrowth will draw out the process of flushing. There is a large debate over defoliation but not when it comes to clearing undergrowth. many benefits to it such as better air flow (better for the leaves to be hit with co2 rich air consistently), less energy distributed to bud sites that will never get enough light to become as dense/potent/large as bud sites that receive direct light. also the sites that remain will have more of the plants energy directed to them encouraging larger buds. you said [which will give you buds allot more time to get bigger and let the fan leaves with the bud yellow slower.] When the plant hits its peak, you want to harvest. Not wait for the buds to fill out.bad idea, sorry dude, but this isnt the way to go. let it flower with all the leaves and stems of lower plants, that will be the first place nitrogen is sucked from, which will give you buds allot more time to get bigger and let the fan leaves with the bud yellow slower.

If you can somehow even rationalize your thought process it would be a wonder to behold.Sorry dude, but this is not the way to go.
I vegged for a month running floranova one part, and floralicious +.yeah, 24-36 (36 is abit long) will kick off the flowering a bit faster. However i would really suggest clearing some foliage in the center of the plants. air flow is a really good thing and those are going to stretch about 12-16 inches is my guess. Can i ask how long you vegged for?
Thanks for all of your input, I do appreciate it. I may not be doing all you have suggested(although it was seriously considered), but I don't want to do to much and it adversely effects my current progress. My number one goal at this point is to complete a successful grow.no worries, you will have a lot of little popcorn buds you can use to make hash/food with left over.
