First time grow need advice!!

I don't want it to reflect the heat I want it to kinda absorb the heat. I'm trying to post more pic but its kinda hard from my phone.
Hey Ogonzo I know what you mean about learning new stuff I've already learned so much a lot of people think stoners are stupid but you actually have to be pretty smart to get good quality.

image.jpg The temp is at 90 degrees is that to hot? Also I have the plant outside all day and put it in here at night for a 18/6 light cycle but I'm eventually just gonna leave it the cabinet.

image.jpg This is another plant I had outside but the wind fucked it up is it worth saving if so I'm not planning on letting it get that big

image.jpg Close up of my baby under lights. Why are the leaves yellow and brown at the end? Also I just transplanted both plants last night I'm use miracle grow potting soil

Hey laker, just stopping in to check out your box. From what I can see you have a good start. Your plant will be fine, just keep watering to keep the soil moist. Make sure you have drainage so the water doesn't pool in your pot. Since your keeping your plants relatively small, the nutes in the miracle grow mix should be enough for you to veg. You may want to switch to 12/12 light at about 6-8 inches as your vertical space is limited to 3ft. Dont worry it will continue to grow normally, with a finish height just below your lights. When you see signs of flower give her a half strength watering with bloom nutes. Try and get something that says that it has Micronutrients as well. This will help to keep your plant healthy. Water that way as per the instructions on the package. Once you have some fully formed buds use a 3/4 to full dose. Also when you switch your lights you may want to swap out one of thos blue spectrum cfl's for a warmer one like the 2700K you have. Iv gotta run to work or I would add more. Let me know if this was helpful at all.

Hey homegrown4life yes it was very helpful I was wondering when I should switch it to 12/12 and will do on the nutes thanks for the great advice!!!

Should I top or FIM and when should I do it? I going to switch it to 12/12 tomorrow when I get my intake and exhaust fans in
Hey dude, if this is truly your first grow I wouldn't recommend either technique. Fim'ing can be tricky if you've never done it before, and topping it will delay your growth for a few days. You'd have to wait till you see a good amount of new growth before you switched to 12/12. I would recommend getting a few good un-altered plants under your belt before trying anything fancy:). If you'd still like to try and prune her to get some more bud out, try cutting one or two sets of fan leafs so your light can reach the budding branches below your main shoot.

I topped the plant I had outside and that went good I saw the two stems shooting out of the top like they are supposed to do even tho I pulled it this morning lol

Very cool dude, post some more pics when you get the chance. I'd love to see how everything turns out.

Why are the leaves yellow and brown at the tip are they burning? I accidentally spilled some water on the leaves when I was water it while it was outside

If I had to guess dude, I would say thos leaves were yellow before they got crumbly right? There was probably a nitrogen deficiency in the soil you started with. Which resulted in the yellowing. Now that you have it in the Mirgrow soil tho you should be fine. All the new growth looks green and healthy.

I've read that you can also use the fuzzy part of velcro along the frame where the door meets the frame.

Don't waste Velcro! Lol

Just go get some 1/2" trim wood and put that on the inside. That'll most likely be cheaper then the Velcro anyways. All the wood I used in my box I got out of the scrap bin at either Home Depot or lowes. Might cost you $2-3
