As the title says i noticed today that many of my fan leaves started developing small yellow/brownish spots :wall:
the plant is 8 weeks old and not yet put into flowering (not sure of the strain ill get back to you on that when my friend answers his phone since he gave me the seedling)
its under a 400w (lights on 24h) HPS with a inline fan sucking out air
temp is 27-29celsius (80-84F)
i have a fan blowing new air on the plants at all times
im using a potting soil that has NPK value of 13-7-14
im using coco max nutes:
Compound A has a NPK of 5-0-1
Compound B has a NPK of 0-2-3
I water the plants with about 2 litres of water and i put 3ml of each compound per litre and I water it about once every other day (when the top soil is dry) it usually drains out about 1 decilitre
PH is unknown since i dont own a PH meter

ive been lurking on the forums a little bit and some says it might be early stages of spidermites and some say it might be a nutrient deficiency caused by PH lockout. Any help is greatly appreciated

You might try holding off on the nutrients a tad, looks like you got some canoeing going on. If it gets any worse a flush may become necessary. In the meantime look for new spots forming in your newer growth to gauge if it is getting worse or better. I also recommend removing any leaves that lose over 50 percent of their chloroplasts.

canoeing is when your leaves start to resemble upside down canoes, this is generally caused my overfeeding. Always remember spots and shit happen a lot and they are not always fatal, but patience is key. There is nothing you can do to rid a leaf of its spots, just prevent them from spreading to other leaves. Whatever you end up doing don't over do it out of impatience, a plant may recover in a few days or a few weeks. I just re read and saw you are using a soil that has ferts in it and are applying ferts as well, I would cease doing that for a span and just give them water. I do not believe it is spidermites though. Spritz water on the underside of your leaves or apply a neem oil/water solution to your leaves if you are worried, or get some ladybugs. You will really want to get a ph meter as well.

Some of those spots are what people refer to as rust spots, I would try looking that term up, as I forgot the possible causes.

no home depot? my mother uses a diluted dish soap mix to keep bugs off of her flowers and shit, but I would research that before attempting, might leave a residue that would block stipuoles

most of the minor necessities are readily available, as 99 percent of the equipment is legal and not really intended for growing pot specifically. Neem oil and other insecticidal soaps are general purpose gardening equipment. nursery's almost everywhere will sell ladybugs. Nobody asks too many questions when money is going into their pockets. I live in N.C now and have been getting used to the bible belt bullshit for a while. Big change for me from alaska, where I would walk down the street with a bong, or would go door to door asking if anyone knew where to score, or you were allowed up to 24 plants. But everything is cheaper here by far, 6 pack of 27 watt cfl's fucking 3 bucks! almost 15 up in AK, but the weed here is terrible and 20 bucks a gram.

Small update! i went to the agriculture store and bought myself a soil PH meter and it shows 6.5 so i guess that more or less optimal?

look like a calcium deficiency to me.
Is there purple stems as well?
yes there is when it was very young it was almost all purple, now its better tho. all the leaves that are having theese spots have darker stems than the healthy ones =/ any simple solution to this?

could be magnesium. also maby a lockout of both
thanks for the input but im a little bit confused. how is it a lockout if PH levels are between 6.5-6.9 depending on where i measure? (6.9 closest to the stem and 6.5 farthest away from the stem)

I saw people talk about Cal-Mag and the only thing i could find available is cal-mag for humans in pill forms, does this work? how many MG of calcium/magnesium should i add per litre of water?
