I just started a couple of Sleestack x Skunk (Sleeskunk). Day 9. So far they have been performing very, very well. Fast growth. Great healthy color. Any advice on what this strain likes or doesn't like? I'm going to be watching how your grow finishes.

heyyy, i topped one plant and super cropped the other, i found it grows like a Christmas tree style i didn't feed alot at the start as i used bio mix light soil which holds all good nutrients for 4 weeks of growth, after that i used compost from my garden (3 years old) so pretty good now just switched to canna flores,

it likes alot of light i took it outside a couple weeks before flowering and it grew like a extra 5 inchs

This sounds very similar to my approach. I live on a farm with a small herd of beef and always have a perpetual compost pile of well rotted cow manure available. I till in a lot of that into my veggie garden every fall and have an outstanding surplus of homemade soil. That's the stuff I use for my cannabis and they generally love it. Just add a little molasses and lime.

Under CFLs for ~25 days and then outside into holes with the same soil. Sometimes I amend and sometimes not. I put my 9 days outside today because the weather is spectacular. sunny and high 70s with moderate breeze.

My sleeskunks are outperforming my other 9 days by a wide margin (right now). Its still very early but very impressed with their vigorous growth (so far). That's why your thread got my attention. ;-)

Happy trails...

Just wanted to pop in. My Sleeskunks are kickin ass. I have just two from freebie beans so I haven't given them any extra attention but they are rather impressive!

I just wanted to mention that I'm getting two distinctly different phenos... both are very vigorous and quite healthy with minimal care... mist twice a day and 24/0 cfl light, 6500K with 65 watt bulbs. 2 to 3 inches away from seedlings.

SS1 is a classic broad, dark green leaf indica pheno. starting to really bush up. SS2 is a lighter lime green, sharp sat dom structure. Both are aggressive starters and getting bushy. Day 12.
