I am looking to build a greenhouse.

Small for a backyard. What is the smallest I can get away with and still make it worth building? I am thinking 10' x 8' and PVC.
any plans out there that anyone has good experiences with? links appreciated. TIA

go visit homedepot.com they have some awesome pop-up tent style greenhouses for around $150. they are like 7ft by 7ft by 7ft on average and theres allot of styles.

Thx. I think I have seen ads for these kind from target online. I forget why I ruled them out. Either they were too flimsy or not opaque enough. But I will take another gander. :blsmoke:

Here is a link to a site that gives building instructions for a simple Hoop House. It's cheap and easy to construct.... I built one myself when I was in California.

The only problem I found was that when we had a bad windstorm the thing got beat to shit. I've been considering putting one up again.... although the thing I would do different is put more effort into securing it to the ground...

I've attached a couple of pictures of the one I built... these were taken the day I built it.... I think the year was 2002. If memory serves the whole thing cost me about $50 or $60 in materials.
