i would put a hole for incoming air on the bottom.. then put the fan on the opposite side up time drawing air out,, so as it sucks air out it brings fresh air in....

Your grow room layout is your problem. Moving a ton of hot air ends up being a hair blow-dryer to you plant. You need to figure out a way to vent your air out of the grow area. Your big fan is over-kill once you get your venting figured out.

Lol I know the fan is over kill but it's the only choice I have :( so if I'm understanding right I need to have to holes in my box for intake and outtake?

yes. you are moving a ton of air but not away. just around your plants and because of this they may also lack co2. If you can suck in fresh, cooler air and move it thru the cabinet and out the top then you will be replacing the air in the cabinet instead of just cycling it around.

in via a small fan or vent at the bottom and out via the same method at the top. If cabinet is small enough only the exit or entry should need a fan as natural displacement should push the air out if new air is pushing it's way in.

1 use 1 10 dollar fan in my cabinet (3.5x3.5) and the bottom and I mean fresh air from the room the cabinet is in, not from outside.

Going with T5 HO lights instead of CFL's will drop the heat down too....they're pricey compared to CFL's though as far as initial spending goes.

Are you talking about aquarium lights? I was useing two 13w tubes and one 50w spot grow light but I was told them are not good to use so I switched to CFLs

Here is another pic you can see the fan better
I don't even see a proper grow space.. I mean not to be an ass, but you need a proper grow space for good results

you can't cool air with a fan and the box fans aren't proper to use. Oscillating fan is what you need.

You need a tent or a box built... Growing in a open space IMO isn't a good option. It's a nice idea to keep everything contained

another, if normal lights off temp is 80 that's why. You need a ac 80 is even hot. Mine stays at 75 lights on and off....and I use a 400w hps... Temps like urs I would hate to see a hps in there

I see a bunch of stuff everywhere hardly any perlite and dry soil... You want a clean grow area perlite and moist soil...
