Things seem to be under control and the dog days are coming on pretty fast. This seasons outdoor doesn't even compare to last year. Temps have been very moderate around here and I am hopeful that this years crop will be fantastic.
As far as the indoor is concerned things are going ok. The temps are a bit of a concern but the girls don't seem to mind. If the flower tent is all sealed up then it's not uncommon to see 100's. Upper 90's for sure. Seems like with the door open I can get down to mid 80's and resting temps aren't much lower than that. Of course I have more power in the tent than I ever have so the high temps are to be expected.
My veg tent is about to get thinned out. I have a bunch of AK/Yum clones that are gonna go outside along with almost everything else you see. The biggest plant in veg is the Black Russian. It will probably go outside too. I have it in a One gallon smart pot. I have tried the Super Roots Air Pots and the Smart pots. In my opinion there is really no comparison. The smart pots give me much better results. I can grow a bigger plant in a one gallon smart pot than I can in a three gallon air pot. Anyone else have similar experience? Plants in Roots pots seem to stay thin and grow slow where the Air pots fill out and grow quicker. The one gallon makes a real easy transplant into the five gal too.
I think this will be the last run for the Blue Pyramid. Just not a fan at all. Don't like how it grows, smells, or smokes. I like Pyramid and the BP is a solid plant but it's not for me. That Icy Hot smell continues to the smoke and it's a cool (menthol) sensation when inhaled.
I am very excited about the fall and winter. Thanks for the heads up El Tiberon. I have packs of the Choc Rain, Lady Cane, Herijuana, and Extrema on their way. Very very anxious to play around with these gals.
