Thanks for checking this out!! I'll be growing DWC. Eventually will be getting a 30-55gal res and setup kind of an ebb and flow but to dwc buckets.

I was searching RIU and found some guys saying good things about this site for RO systems: http://www.thefilterguys.biz/ro_systems.htm

Second basically just has a pressure gauge built in as well as a tds meter. What you guys think? Advice VERY MUCH APPRECIATED! THANK YOU!!

I bought a much cheaper one because only my plants will be drinking the water from it.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/0PPM-Portab...047?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item588e2553f7 I use a more expensive RO system for my drinking water, it tastes better.. The DI 0 PPM filter in this set up kinda screws up the taste of the water..

I've had good success with them....they've been very helpful in the past.

Also, be aware there is a BIG difference between filters so make sure they are made in the U.S. and can clean 5 microns and larger. The membrane filter is the most important, so pay particular attention to that filter.

That looks pretty sweet too. What is the diff between DI and RO? I'm sure I can find it and ill look. Thinking out loud (in TEXT lol) So is that device both? RO AND DI? I mean, does any of it matter long as you get 0ppm water? lol

You need to read up on the various R.O. sites to see the differences in filters.........your house/apt water pressure is important as it speeds or slows the how much water is produced. Choice of filter types also is important because they can clog quickly or slowly, water temps effect drip rate, flow rate per filter is also important too. How good or bad your water is at the start is equally important too. The Ebay units are cheap systems but you'll need to do your research to see why. Read up on freedrinkingwater to find the differences and learn more about it. It may be fine for some........but I produce around 40 gallons a week (for drinking and plant use) and it lasts me a solid year plus some. Cheaper systems don't do as good cleaning water over time and replacement filters will need to be bought more often.

you know, it doesn't clearly say, i always thought it was something like 9-1, but this sheet says the 100 is a 1-1,so who the hell knows for sure.
