Please help my friend tips and advices on this legal problem ASAP

Dear friends,

My friend helps a person N renting a house without knowing this person doing XXX. My friend just got bad news that the house got busted without anybody inside. My friend is renting the house from a big rental company and sign a different simple rental contract with the person N. My friend opened all utilities on this house. He got paid some good cash. I am very worry that my friend will get a major problems. Could you please give him some advices on this? How to solve?

He really appreciates your help.

UPDATES!

My friends found out the following infomation:
1/ The house got busted around 9pm.
2/ There were 4 cars and a truck without any cop logo or flash light.
3/ The front door were broken, and all the lights are off.
4/ There were no paper, notice, or warning on the door. He has no idea if there are any inside.
5/ There is a new meter reading installed on the pole. It seems like the mesh was created by the electric company.
6/ There were not any news posted on any website. He's checking very often.
7/ There were nobody contact him yet. Not even the electric company nor the owner of the house.

Could any of you give my frriend any advice? He would really appreciate your help. He's kinda panic now.

they don't have to be in marked cars to hit your house. I got hit at night too and they jumped out of a uhaul truck.. I tried reading your op but that shit gave me a headache trying to figure out what your trying to say. when I got hit they took my 9mm carbine {which they didn't login to their list of stuff taken}.what im trying to say is that cops can do pretty much what the fuck they want.

Were you there at that time? Did you got arrested at that time?
Is this possible a police thief case?

I was there. Got kicked in the face while handcuffed then I was hauled off to jail... Till this day I have no idea where my gun went. It's registered. But I caught a felony so I'm no longer able to own guns. So either way I'm assed out on that gun.. It's not like I can go ask for it back

What I do know is not contacting someone about a problem makes you look guilty. It would not be hard for the authorities to know who lived there.

My friend is living in a different state. He was there several times when his friend was late on payment, but only at the front door, never got inside.
He knew about the problem when he was outside of the state. He is currently outside of the state too. Do you think he will receive a call from authorities soon?

Damn. I'm sorry to hear about that man. Hope you doing well now.
Anyway, so from your story, I guess there is a chance of police thief. In this case, my friend should be so glad.

Thanks for replying. Did your friend have a lot of stuff at that time? Did you read over my UPDATE post? If so, do you know if there is any difference from your friend case?

It was a week ago, and my friend still didn't receive any calls from landlord, electricity company, or cop, and no news on the internet, nothing. He is planning to hire somebody to check on the house and do an estimation for repairing the house. Do you guys think that's a good idea?

Really appreciate guys.
