I've never done this CD thing, but I would imaigine if you took a couple strips of duct tape and put them on the cd before you broke/cut it the shrapnel wouldn't be too bad.this is just a quick question...what do you plan to do when the stalks get too fat? everytime i try to cut CDs, they shatter and blow shrapnel everywhere. GL if they cut anything
Kool idea, REP+ ,bro.It keeps the soil moist, the roots can use the whole container and grow right up to the surface, also helps maximize the lumen's by reflecting the light back towards the plant.

thats why they invented drills & drill bits lolI've never done this CD thing, but I would imaigine if you took a couple strips of duct tape and put them on the cd before you broke/cut it the shrapnel wouldn't be too bad.
Ive had no problems with watering or with the disc needing to be cleaned, whatsoever. It just seems like it would make it a pain to water the plants. And also, keeping them clean, it seems like you would be spending more time keeping the discs clean than what the results were producing.
