Some of these are taken with the flash off so you can see the 'true color'.

The branch snapped a few days ago and it's been looking horrible. Until today I didnt even think mold or mildew, but the white puffy looking shit around the brown got me thinking it may be mold or mildew.

I'm on day 35 of flower, should I just cut this branch off before it gets worse? I don't know what to do.

Looks like a fungal disease. If the side branches are wilting cut them off disinfecting your snips with alcohol after each cut. I see the main stem is infected also but not all the way around. If it spreads around the whole stem and interrupts the phloem then everything above the infection will die. If it doesn't spread then you should be fine since you only have about four weeks left in this grow. It's not mold or mildew though.

No signs of wilting yet, I've been keeping a close eye for that.

Is there anything I can do to treat this? Like you said I don't have much time left on this grow, I don't wanna lose the last couple months of time.

There are things u can use to treat fungal Diseases. they arent cheap. The problem is the disease manifests by girdling the stem interfering with the xylem phloem cells that carry water and nutrients up and down the stem. It's already half way around. If it goes all the way around everything above the infection may die. What you see now wont go away. It will just scar over. Hopefully it won't get to that point. As a precaution I would definitely separate that plant from the rest. With diseases as a rule its best to avoid them if you can rather than treat them after they're infected.

Alright. Should I scrape off the white stuff? I scratched a bit off earlier just to see what it felt like (if it was hard soft powdery etc)

It came off when I scraped it and underneath is still green.

When the snap first happened, I applied some cloning gel to the area that was broken. I thought maybe this could have been a side effect of the cloning gel.

Oh really. U mean the white stuff is actually cloning gel? Applying cloning gel will only get the stem to produce roots at the site. If it is cloning stuff...wipe it all off. U can use alcohol also with no ill affects to the plant

That's your problem, never use cloning fluid, gel or powder on anything above the surface of your soil...IT'S FOR ROOTING...:wall:...good luck though

Wow, that doesn't look good. Is you moisture too high? I'm not sure what you can use to fix that when in flowering. You could try something like Bayer flower disease control but it will prob mess up you smoke.

If there was a break...sorry I didnt understand that...carefully wipe off the cloning stuff cuz u dont want to make the break worse....use a piece of string or cloth to tie branches to avoid any more breakage if u have to

Honestly maphyr...mb just leave it alone. The cloning gel wont hurt it but if u keep fucking with it...that might

Yeah, I applied cloning gel to the 'wounded area' (lack of better term)

When the snap happened, I paniced like hell and instantly went to Google for a solution. I read a few posts of folks saying to use cloning gel and tape on snapped branches, so I went ahead and used the gel. After that I found several posts saying NOT to use cloning gel, so yeah I may have jumped the gun on that.

Humidity in the tent stays at around 40%, give or take a few percent.

Here's the break 5 days ago,
https://www.rollitup.org/attachments/marijuana-plant-problems/2713771d1372212132-does-snap-break-look-ok-045.jpg - Pretty sure this was the same day the break happened, or the day after. So the gel had already been applied. All the brown/white stuff happened after applying the gel.

I've been just leaving it alone and hoping it'll heal up, but as you can see from the image above, it's just getting worse.

This thread,
https://www.rollitup.org/marijuana-plant-problems/677426-does-snap-break-look-ok.html has a bunch of pictures I uploaded a few days ago. My internet is messed up right now and I'm unable to upload any to this thread.

I don't want to lose this branch because it has a nice sized cola on top of it, but if I do lose it, it's no big deal. This is my first plant, it's more of a learning plant for me, guinea pig plant. However, I do want to learn what to do in this situation for future snaps/breaks and infections.
