SO he already had a bullet in the chamber? He would still have to rack the slide at some point. No?
No. The Keltec has no hammer and is double action. If there is a round in the chamber all you have to do is pull the trigger and it goes bang.

What is the point of carrying a semi auto pistol without a round in the chamber? You might as well carry it completely unloaded.

<edit> Just to ward off the pedantic sniping, let me amend my statement. The Keltec has no external hammer.

ok just wanted to clarify. Yes there is no reason to carry a gun unloaded. But with zimmerman who knows.

And with a full load in the grip, a very nasty sap. There is big smell of willy nilly, vigilante, and cover up, and the Prosecution Rests its Case.

The Defense is now stating the Move to Dismiss.

TM's body was in the rain and elements for three hours... Plenty of time for blood to wash away, etc.

Medical examiner said TM was alive for between 1 and 10 minutes after he was shot. This explains why TM's hand were folded under him. After Z got off of him, he folded his arms under his body and then died some minutes later.

"He later estimated that Martin lived one to 10 minutes after he was shot, and said the bullet went from the front to the back of the teen’s chest, piercing his heart."

"Zimmerman attorney Don West questioned why Martin’s hands weren’t covered to preserve evidence on his fingers and why it took three hours to remove the body from the scene. West and Bao talked over each other at several points, prompting the judge to tell everyone to speak one at a time."

nope, a unicorn folded in his left arm, a leprechaun folded in his right arm, and a narwhal lifted up his torso while the woods nymph cleaned up all the blood.

Sure, but don't you think Martin's blood would be gone as well?
There was a lot more of Martin's blood. He was shot through the right ventricle of the heart, after all.

The medical examiner found Z's DNA on Martin's hoodie, by the way. The news report said "DNA", I assume that is from Zim's blood.

I doubt you will find a narwhal in Florida, but there are lots of gangbangers and burglars. One fewer of the latter now.

Carried properly in condition Alpha, the first round is chambered w/ safety on.
IDK if that's how he was carrying - but that's how I and most LEO do it.

Edit: I was talking SA semi.
My bad.
Well the firearm in question doesn't technically have an external safety, but the proper way would be to carry with it locked a loaded. There is a hammer block that would prevent it from just randomly firing while in the holster.

I also carry with my firearm chambered with the thumb safety on, mine is double action. Very easy to just flip safety off while bringing it to firing position.

I know that the kel tec is double action, but it just doesn't seem right since you can't physically pull the hammer back.

Zimmerman is INNOCENT.

OK, he may not be completely innocent. But he is certainly NOT a 2nd degree murderer.

He should be given a fine to pay. Say, $200?

I hate that Trayvon died. I HONESTLY do. But he should NOT have physically attacked Zimmerman. He just plainly and simply picked the wrong fight. Only one in 10,000 Zimmermans are armed, and the attacker gets away with the attack. But this was the one in 10,000 where the thug attacker got what he unknowingly asked for.

There are no monsters in this case. Sometimes, when shit happens, there is just no one to blame. Thus is the case here.
