Experienced soil growers quick question

I been growing in soil for about 5 months or so, already had a harvest, was not the best and ive been plagued by nute lock out/ def for a while once they hit flowering for 3-4 weeks shit really starts to get yellow / rust.

I ph my water to 6.5 but one thing while adding nutes i never accounted for build up of salts and shit changing the soil PH overall. I read someplace by foliar feeding all the nutes you can avoid your soil fluctuating ph by just watering with ph'ed water, and using nutes only in foliar feeds. Now if I take my old miracle grow and nuke whatever runoff is off by higher or lower ph than it is to get run off to about 6.5, and then add boiling water of 6.5 to kill everything, it should keep me in the clear for lock out right?
Also started using fox farm due to its superior quality and that its pre-ph'ed, so i should not have major issues with that stuff, "i hope" lol...

All the nute problems and lock outs with soil are seriously pushing me towards giving up on soil all together because of the crazy amount of variables using it, and just going to bubble or hydroponics on my next major batch of clones.

Should i stick with soil for a bit longer and give it a fare chance or say fuck it, and trade in dirt and buckets for a flood table with rock wool and clay pebbles? lol

Did you just say you we're going to water your plants with boiling water? Wtf made you think they would like that or could do anything other than cause damage?
Anyways your plants are yellowing early in flower because they need nitrogen supplemented for the first few weeks to fuel the stretch period, that stops at week 4. I use a 3-10-0 scratched into the top of the dirt and also water in 1/2 str veg nutes the first bit of flower on top of flower nutes. I do it all by feel and don't use feeding charts, seems like reading the plant is more accurate anyways.

you dont buffer soil like that, soaking the medium with a ph'd solution is for a soiless medium like coir or rockwool. for soil you use lime to raise your ph, soil is naturally acidic because of the organic matter that is breaking down in it so if you need to adjust it it is almost always to raise ph.

You're doing too much, it's easier than that, and if your having trouble with soil (which is more forgiving, IMO) DO NOT go hydro....learn to read your plants, the leaves, stems, and stalk will tell you everything.....And what I mean by too much is all that adding this adding that and boiling water....it sounds like a mid-evil torture chamber in there :fire:...get some good soil I used MG Potting soil with MG perlite and MG nutes for along time with great results (I use subcools super soil now https://www.rollitup.org/organics/539844-subs-supersoil.html it's in Organics) and good luck
