Regarding the thread though, what is the presence iyo?, aliens or god or or neither we are all entitled to our opinions ,or are we? do you have an opinion on the subject of this thread at all regarding your dmt experiences?
Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but some opinions hold more merit than others. I know your ability to extrapolate meaning from words is limited, so I'll let you in this one, I'm implying that your opinion does not hold much merit.

If you had left it at opinion, that would be one thing. This whole time though, you have painted it as a scientifically-backed fact that it's more than just drug-induced visions. I would have actually found a thread of people recounting their experiences to be fascinating, as I want to try DMT sometime. You loaded this thread from the start as a proclamation of fact though.

Most everyone I know personally that's done it has given it good reviews. However, none of them have claimed they actually saw elves or other beings; just that they hallucinated them. I feel that many drugs can provoke a life-changing event; however it seems to happen through introspection, not messages from another plane of existence.

If you dose good enough, and breakthrough, there is no difference between actually seeing these things, or hallucinating. It seems like a real experience just as real as you are experiencing right now. And you're right that many drugs can cause these "life changing experiences". Most people don't dose high enough with other psychedelics to get that because of body load or fear, or whatever. I don't know if it's only from introspection though, because sometimes it really seems like you tap into a greater consciousness than your own... like you are able to understand a lot more than your little brain can regularly. But more than likely it's just a trip. It's never really life changing for me. When I was younger and had a really freaky or insightful trip, I might be changed for a few months, but then be back to a normal jerk. Then it's time to dose again lol.

If u take enuf drugs it allows u to access parts of ur brain u normally cant...therfore allowing u to connect to the spirit world....maybe.....or maybe when u take an intelligent person w a wonderful imagination and pump em full of mind altering substances their mind runs away w itself and manifests whatever seeds were already planted in the back of ur mind to begin w .....the brain is very complex and primal. ....why do u see faces in everything?...clouds, wood grain, in the way the bark on the tree is shaped...its a survival instinct....same goes for the drugs...everyone has the same experience cause we are all basically hard wired the same.....no one will ever have the true answer or they would by now....keep fuckin w them hallucinogens enuf and ull drive urself crazy that I can promise u

So the fact that your good doctor says you're full of shit is meaningless? You sure were quoting the shit out of him in this thread. Enjoy being our resident pigeon.
You do realize that he quoted strassman! and the article i put forward was from mckenna !?

I would have actually found a thread of people recounting their experiences to be fascinating, as I want to try DMT sometime. You loaded this thread from the start as a proclamation of fact though.
For a start i never proclaimed any facts i dont think!

Why ruin a good thread then,i am simply asking for opinions on dmt experiences, you said it all '' as I want to try DMT sometime.''

like the quote below says...
Yes, i absolutley agree with you veg, smoeone who hasnt done dmt should not be even commenting on this because there opinion is nil, i HAVE seen elves before smoking dmt,

And thats the answer you gave to this!...

I have neither met, nor experienced what is happening in this video either but I can tell you it's not psychic phenomenon.

I have never attempted DMT but I can tell you, for certain, that you are not leaving your own head.

I don't think someone who hasn't taken DMT can say jack shit about the experience. They will however. They will go on and on telling you all sorts of shit about DMT. For all we know the world could be an illusion and DMT the only thing real. Anyway, allowing people who haven't had DMT into a thread about DMT is like letting the cows into the bedroom. They just make noise and leave piles of shit.

I experienced two presences last time. I wasn't able to interact much or remember much. They seemed to be human though. South or central American.

Attempting to apply logic and reason to the DMT experience is the height of stupidity. There is no logic or reason, there is only experience. If you run into an entity and you start questioning them and attempting to apply logic and reason to the situation, you won't get far. The entity will also probably slap the shit out of you. Experience, don't analyze. You will never know the source of the entities. Enjoy them as they are. Your experience and what you learn from them is real.

I find the experience to be very welcoming and somewhat familiar. Perhaps at night my brain goes there but I have no conscious memory and that's why it seems familiar.

Anyway, don't bother talking to people who haven't been there. They can add nothing to your knowledge. It's like talking to your cat about the moon. As far as the cat is concerned it's made of cheese.

It's precisely this dialogue why substances like DMT are viewed the way they are in society

If you could just use it and have the experience, and that was it, it would be fine

Instead you get people who use it and believe they've experienced some mystical, magical, divine revelation only possible through the sacred substance..

Anyone being honest with themselves would just say "I'm not sure" and understand that they introduced a foreign chemical into their system with the purpose of altering their state of mind, they wouldn't jump to irrational conclusions because of it.

If what you claim had any merit, why doesn't mainstream science share the same view? Why is the evidence that's always presented from a relatively unknown source that never bothered to put his theory through peer review?

Exactly why it's not real. It's a fantasy, that's the point. I've tripped many times, on many hallucinogens, DMT is just one of the rainbow.

The height of stupidity is taking a drug and assuming it's reality, or gives you magic powers to talk to mystical beings.

everything he said^^ ,just nailed it! its that simple!

Exactly why you can't comment because you have no experience as you just said, you are assuming its 'similar' and its not, thats the point!! it isn't like any other drug on earth and you cant even believe it the first time, KERVORK just nailed it above!!!

the height of stupidity is trying to think of it logically and apply science without trying it!

i cant remember any1 saying on here that has ACTUALLY taken DMT that yes, even if you ain't had it before, you can make comments and judge it and give input on this thread,am i wrong?,i have a terrible memory lol

Even if someone came into the thread (I think someone has already) and told you that they've used DMT and have experienced nothing like what you claim, you would just brush them off and wait for someone like Kervork to come along to confirm your bias. That is what you want, you're not actually asking for honest opinions about it, you're asking for people to confirm yours.

So, if I have a religious experience without DMT do you claim that experience is not valid either. The millions of people who experience it, all just hallucinating. Not real at all, move on folks, nothing here to see.

The experience is valid, magical, mystical, divine revelation. You can interview a thousand people who had a religious experience with or without DMT and they will all give you similar stories. Science may tell us about the chemical and physical basis, but they are a thousand years from telling us about the content.
