Hello all, thanks for checkin this out! I'll be throwing some Fruity Chronic Juice clones in the clone machine soon here and am wondering if, besides Clonex directly on the stem, should I add a low strength nute solution to the water? Im using GH Flora series.

How about "Rapid Start" or some other "Root stimulator" ?

THANKS!!

Plain, non ph'ed tap water is all u need. Ive done thousands this way and lost 2.
OK. Cal Mag tho right? If using RO.

And with them not sitting in rockwool that would get too saturated (I'll have them just held in the neoprene covers) how often and long would you want to water them with the sprayers? With the seedlings i was only doing like 15 mins twice a day and the rockwool was still pretty wet..

I use Thrive Alive B-1 Red....You can use tap water...but it seems like you get quicker root growth with the thrive alive.

U need roots to use nutes. Tap water is all u need. Nothing else. I do 80secs on 8 mins off on all of mine. All i have ever used is pots and collars from clone to harvest so if u need anything pm me.

You need roots to use nutes? I guess foliar feeding is a myth.

Where did foliar feeding come from in this thread? He is talking about in the res, for gods sake dude. If u foliar feed cuttings it will dramatically change the rooting time and the size of the roots because the plants doesnt have to search for it.

NO. Not needed at all, ever if you have the environment, strains, and nutes correct.
Ok. My first grow like 3 years ago in soil, i was having problem after problem, and that GH Diamond Nectar stuff seemed like a night and day difference when i would spray them if they were looking like they were struggling. But they were big vegging plants, not clones or lil ones.

I started with DWC, you have been a good help to me so far. THANKS! I;m actually changing over to two multiflow ebb and gro systems. Veg and flower. I need to be able to control res temps and I LOVE the idea of ONE RES to deal with. :)

BUT i still gotta grow these couple out in the dwc's. hoping for the best. cant really do much with the water temps. they basically go up to the room temp. Im getting some Ho2o in a few days.

One res for veg and flower? Not the best idea. Plants have different needs at different stages and even different ph preferences at different stages.

Wait, so you're telling me that you don't have to have the sprayers on all the time?! That's what I've been doing this whole time haha

i have only been doing 5 min 4 times a day. it seems to keep the rw saturated enuf to me. i guess well see here but i feel like they will just be SOAKED if i did the 80 on 8 min off. thoughts?

what you do? u just put em in the neoprene collar? let the stem just hang in there? i could see your way working in that regard.. Wouldnt the clonex just rinse right off that way? or whatever you use..
