Droopy leaves skunk #1

They are 41 days old. I started giving them nutes yesterday because they suddenly started hanging a lot and at night got very crispy. As you can see on the second picture that one is looking OK - still with droopy leaves though. The first picture is the one that is in biggest trouble I think. I topped that one about 5 days ago and it seems that it might have had an effect on the droopy leaves and crispy leaves. That one I have now moved to another pot (a bigger pot) because I thought it was due to rootbound. Before the transplant of the plant on pic 1 it was also placed in a pot like the one on picture 2. Is that pot too small for the size of the plant? I think I will move the second plant (the healthier plant) also into a bigger pot for a safety. I don't think I have been underwatering neither overwatering them and they are outside so I don't think it's the sun? I live in Scandinavia so it shouldn't be a problem I think

Too much water it looks like. They been outside in the rain much in those coco pots? Let 'em dry out a bit, if they don't look better in a few days consider repotting. I see you mix with Leca, add a nice layer of it on the bottom of the pot, it helps the coco not get soggy, I fill my pots almost 1/4 Leca and then a 50/50 mix with coco, works great inside. outdoors, if you get a lot of rain, some extra perlite doesn't hurt either.

Thanks, Mad Hamish. I actually also have leca in the bottom and a lot inside the soil. I'll water give them some days to 'do their thing' I guess. I noticed some small dots (some a bit brown) on the leaves as well... What da faack

For sure. At this point (seeing as you've fed recently) best is to hang on a few days and let them do their thing as you say. Keep a close eye, though...

I can't see the small 'dots' myself. How small? If they're tiny, check underside of leaves for mites. Small dots are usually mite-bites. As the leaf grows the dots go a bit brown and seem to 'stretch' but they stay small. That would be my only worry at this point, you just fed so if it's anything else like a deficiency it should fade...

You did pre-buffer that coco, right?... If not, have some CaMg+ on standby but I see no signs of a deficiency of either Ca or Mg yet...

Overall they look good bro, perhaps just a bit wet that's all.

Coco tends to holb back some Ca and Mg, so what me and a lot of guys do is to mix about 5g of CaMg+ to two litres of water for soaking the coco in beforehand, which tends to take care of that little issue.

If you didn't, not to worry, just supplement with a SMALL amount. Let's say roughly 5g per 5 litre volume, or a gram per litre, and then add your nutes (a little bit less than usual).

Then again, this is also not essential for every nutrient program, so best is to look up Ca/Mg deficiency so you know what to watch out for and get an idea of people's experiences.
