Auto-flower and fertilizer questions

So! I'm new to hydroponic and have some questions about the fertilizer when using auto seeds.
I've bought a starter box of Hy-Pro Hydro A/B, but I'm not in any way sure how to administer it.

So, I found this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBuq6LUbLeI

They say that after 3 weeks of growing, I can start feeding them Hydro A and B, at an EC level of 1.2. However, a card was included in the box, that say in grow time (what they define as the first 3 weeks), I should use Hydro A and B, at an EC level of 0.8. The card then states that in weeks 1 of flowering, the EC level should be 1.6 and gradually increased to 2.2 at week 9 of flowering.

I guess that's for normal cannabis plants - which itself is plenty confusing. Add auto plants on top of that, and I'm completely lost.

Basically: What should I add when, and how much?

I don't quite understand auto flower.. So if I have an auto flower plant I can keep then in 18 hours of light without ever switching to 12/12? Do I understand that correctly?

That is correct :) It's because they mixed the normal strains (indica and sativa) with ruderalis - a strain that was found in Russia, that flowers much faster due to the shorter summer.
