Preflowers don't open into leaves. Those are male preflowers. So I maintain my position of you don't know what you're saying.
Just to clarify there's 3 pictures of different plants in this post. Plant 1 im unsure of and plant 2 was male and its gone ( killed) plant 3 im sure is a girl ( Trying to learn how to clone that one now. LOL ) So maybe you guys are looking at different plant pictures . So I have to ask the question if plant #1 (I will include photo to this post of plant 1 ) is showing male preflowers in that location. And In that location only . Does that make it a all-male plant?. Plant#2 showed the male pods in the V (petioles) area of the plant and that showed it was pure male but plant 1 shows them on the side of the petioles area ( This is the reason why this is so confusing for us newbies) if the male Preflowers only show in that area can you really just Cut them off and the plant won't produce seeds ? Or should I be seeing Male preflowers in other areas. So should I Just go the safe route and pull it out of the greenhouse ?
Thank you both for your help and passion.. Where all here for the same cause .. To make some pretty plants grow for our enjoyment image.jpg;)

Taking off preflowers won't stop anything. Could you post a picture of some other joints. Plant 1 is an odd one, I'd keep an eye on it. I've never seen such a thing before. Cutting off preflowers won't stop anything. With hermies, some of them put out few enough bananas that you can pick them out of the bud before they're mature. You can keep it in there for a while if you want to confirm, it's not pollinating anything soon.

That is the same issue Potolota was talking about . They kinda look like preflowers pods that's what has been so confusing ? I'll grab some different pics tonight when I get home from work. But that's the only place that has those type of pods . There is some that look similar but some turned into leaves..

I'd like to give u an answer on that lol so when ever u post it ill drop back by, currently looking three storage for magazines on free time believe the one or two that talked about ore flowers has an answer for your situation. I think it has everything to do with how tall your plants are before u flowered them. Like I stated before preflowers only emerge when plant tells u it's mature enough for flowering.

I would almost say hermie just because the 2 pics being the same plant. The only time i see balls or what look like balls is when the calyx swell up by the internodes when there in flower... Chemdawg huh would you happen to be in OR.
