Anyone having trouble uploading pictures?

Hello everyone. I have been having trouble uploading my pictures. I guess it has been happening on RIU as of late. Anyone having the same trouble? Anyone have any tips how to fix it? Thanks for looking.

I just started on this forum today and was having alot of problems uploading through Internet Explorer earlier, switched to Chrome and had no further issues. Hope it helps!

I'm glad it's not just me man.
I had afew pictures on my computer I tried to upload in an update, first time I tried they all failed with the little red ! thing to the right of it.

Tried a few by themselves and I managed to get like 4 out of 19 pictures to upload.

I have been trying since yesterday at 5 pm. I tried a bunch of times until very late and again this morning and it still won't work.

That sucks dick man, have you tried new pictures? besides the ones you originally tried? I take mine with my phone, email them, save them, then post them. So I was thinking maybe it was the pictures themselves, when the lights come on i'm gonna try and take some new pictures, i'll let you know if it works man haha keep me posted if you hear anything that could help

I've had issues with pics Gandalf. You know I like to post several a day. I was having captcha issues not letting me post the pics. Sometimes if I get an red exclamation (!) on the upload, changing the name helps. Also, refreshing the small upload window when searching desktop for pic (right click mouse "refresh") helps too.

Good luck man, nothing worse than wanting to share stuff on the board and having a problem.

I have found that if I can't upload a pic to RIU from my computer, I can upload it to one of those free image hosting sites, and then upload the pic from there to RIU.

Are those sites like photobucket safe to put such pictures up? I dont want a knock on my door.

I was worried about that. It's uploading from Photobucket to RIU as an attachment on RIU. I can then delete it from Photobucket, and it still shows up in my RIU post.

Changing the name, you mean like the file itself?

I had a file I couldn't upload, saved a copy with a different name, couldn't upload that either. Did the Photobucket thing and there it was.

Upload attachment works often enough that i rely on it, but it doesn't work more often than I'd like (which is always).

hey guys always please check our support thread im on multiple times a day but i do miss threads like these if theyre not put in the proper section,. Gandalf i just talked to you the other day about this so i know you now know , but we are having issues you can upload from photobucket

Again im really stressing please please check our support section first, because these threads belong there, i almost always have an answer to anyones problems,
