i watched all those shows and i was born in '83. those shows didn't suddenly go off the air because a ball dropped in times square. they're still on if you know where to look. the variety available today is the reason they're not popular any more. i grew up with 30 channels. i watched what was on.

my favorite shows as a kid were the flintstones and i love lucy, and those shows are from the 60s and 50s. i loved mister ed but i recently caught it on tv and it's really not that good.

just because there was more variety for kid's programming in the 90s doesn't mean the old shows are some secret memory that only people over a certain age remember.

my grandmother would make me watch her goddamn dobie gillis and patty duke, and when she would take her nap i'd watch what i wanted. there was one tv.
I get that I'm far from an idiot ffs.. but read through this thread up till when I made my comment and it's pretty easy to spot who the members are who are under 25 and the ones who are shall we say a bit older..
I didn't see dannyboy saying he watched teenage mutant ninja turtles or Doug like a few of the younger people did..
Damn people get offensive when I said I could date them by the shows they watched as kids for some odd reason ..

While younger people can say that yes they watched Gilligan's island for instance, i do realize there is such a thing as rebroadcasts.. Jesus h Christ. I still stand by my statement and it's funny to see people's ages by the show's they watched, sorry if that gets people panties in a bunch ..

I remember Sunday nights way back then with; Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, then the Wonderful World of Disney. That was family T.V. night when I was a kid. My how times have changed. Technology sure has advanced by leaps and bounds since those days. How old am I?

Oh Hell, I forgot Doug
Adventures of Pete & Pete
and
Salute Your Shorts.

And please tell me someone remembers this show. I don't think I've found anyone that watched this show besides me. I thought it was such a bad ass show. I listed it in my earlier list of shows, but thought it deserved a repeat:

Well before my time but OG Batman. Loved this.
Atomic batteries to power; Turbines to speed.

LOL, I had to laugh cuz that was a line from one of my friends songs. Ohh, the early hipsters, like the girl at 1:49, before they turned into... whatever they are today.

I think that was my favorite Batman show.
