thats awesome :joint: this is exactly what i want to do with my yard when i get a house. so relaxing. the addition of some vines around the perimeter would top it off. and yes, i would like to see the birds please. thanks

Where the hell do you live that you can grow ALL those different things? Sounds like Puerto Rico to me. 8)

I am so jealous right now, lol. I wish I could grow my own fruit and live in a tropical setting like that. Beautiful, simply marvelous.:peace:

southern cali baby
:x son of a BITCH. You're near the coast or in some other milder area then. Damn it, I get frost and snow up here, not to mention the issues with the latitude. We can grow apples, but citrus, 'cados, bananas, guavas, and all that other stuff? Fuhged abowdid. That's why I want to move to Puerto Rico. You can grow ANYTHING there! And everyone does it. :)

well today i made the round and checked out this seasons crop.
everything looks good and to my suprise i even found 3 new avocados on a tree that i assumed didnt not produce fruit..needless to say im happy, now if only we can get the rest of the tree to produce lol

i snapped a bunch of shots of all the little fruit buds and some aviary pictures and a pic of the plumeria that is too heavy for itself. also included are pictures of my multiple composts and a question for anyone who has the answer

is steer manure a good soil additive, i found 2 unopened bags today so i think ill use those but ill have to check the PH on it. i bet its stinky

the first picture is of the aviary that have finches and parakeets
next wave of apples is due in a few months
as well as apricot
and nectarines!:hump:
two of the three baby avo's:joint::joint::joint:
the beast of a plumeria ready to burst
a new addition to the garden SUNFLOWERS!:blsmoke:
the first plumeria flower to bloom:mrgreen:
mini compost for future grows
big compost for future future grows this one has the seaweed
baby blood orange

hope you guys enjoy, and if anyone who lives in san diego wants to buy apricots, apples, peaches and blood oranges PM me, all organic.

thats awesome man, seriously like my dream. i also want a parrot named petey to follow my around everywhere. people dont know how smart african greys are. ill get a loan and get one day.

i think you'd need a few aviaries for parrots and bigger birds, they would fuck up the finches environment, those finches reproduce about every 2 weeks, we have like 60 which started from 6, i personally would love a california condor, how sick would that be, or like a hawk..so nuts

imagine having a toucan, how crazy would that be in the middle of a nice trip.:hump:

but seriously, i love birds, people really dont realize how intelligent those beasts are. plus, im so allergic to anything else it would be like hell to have a dog

yeah my cat squeak was talking to a crow the other day, and i seriously think they were communicating, the crow was just sitting high in this tree just sqwaking away and my cat cruises up next to me and sits down and literally every time the crow would make a noise squeak would follow it up with some kind of meow but all in different tones...i was freaking out, it was one of the funnier things i have ever witnessed

things are green around here and the sun is out in force, cant wait for the end of summer
i have pictures
the first picture is my favorite the blood oranges,
2. is the aviary which has been growing of course, some of the finches found a way out but that was fixed
3 is the free compost bin i was given.
4 is our tomato plant which is blooming like crazy, the first red orange ones are appearing.
5 our neighbor cut down one of his biggest trees which gave us such awesome shade and a feeling of enclosure, but he fuckin cut it down. douche
6 we stripped our planter of a lot of stuff.times are hard and its time to grow our own supply of veggies. were covered with fruit
7 is the plumeria beast with all her flowers
8 is a pear from out pear tree which i originally thought was an avocado tree but pears rule so.
9 is a new batch of lemons
10-12 is our over grown grape vine which is growing up into another tree in our neighbors yard
13 is our new fig tree
and 14 is where my original compost went, notice the crazy explosion in the banana trees..mission accomplished.

hope you all enjoy
