If you ever show up in an ER needing surgery, call yourself a dog. You can't even make a cogent, logical argument. You pick and choose what you answer!

Good Calories, Bad Calories is a meta-analysis of the current state of nutritional science. It discusses the flawed cholesterol and atherosclerosis causing heart disease studies. Right now the mover's and shakers in medicine believe the culprit is insulin. But the punch line is there has been less than ZERO real nutritional science done since 1930. It's all been purchased by ADM and Con Agra.

(1) Learn to classify sources,
(2) Take a real biology class your taxonomy skills are beyond taxed,
(3) Stop confusing your religion for science.

sigh.....
I'll say it again, plants have cured more diseases and saved more lives than humans have, so your doctor comment means nothing. And of course cholesterol is important, doesn't mean meat is healthy.

Let me know the next time a doctor cures cancer in a patient like plant-based foods/extracts. See how dumb your argument is? Humans, animals, insects, plants, all rely on each other in some form or another. Take for example the honey bee. They are dying off in huge quantities right now and humans would pay dearly if they were to go extinct. Another example is cannabis. One herb can cure so many different things.
Yes, once again I will tell you I know about the web of life. Did the plant based food/extract think "hmmm how can I get into someones body so I can cure them?" No, a human mind through science came up with the idea. See how stupid your response was? Animals don't want to cure people, I don't see animals performing surgery on one another either. I don't see animals inventing anything that betters anyone. Humans do that. I don't see animals building ships like the SeaSheapard to protect themselves. Motherfucking Bob Barker funded that because he loves animals. I respect that, I respect anyone that does that. I lose respect when people act like born again christians with their dietary choices and try to shove it down my throat like a catholic priest in a room full of boys.

Say it until you are purple it proves nothing. Posting some specious quote's from an MD means nothing and only memorializes your herbivore delusion. You need to use actual scientific studies to prove a scientific point. You have proven nothing. You don't even know what that means. Again I am not going to waste my time with some one who thinks he has the chops to argue molecular phylogenetics, when you wouldn't know basic taxonomy if it bit you in the ass.

I just want to be clear so others understand you are a religious zealot and your religion is speciesism. I frankly don't care what you or anyone eats. We are apex predators. We can eat anything we want and since we are omnivore's we will survive to a greater or lesser extent.

How the hell would you know what animals want? Also, why would a plant need to think in order to be valuable? Plant based foods and extracts cure diseases and save lives. Humans can survive without doctors.. can we survive without plants? No. The basis of your entire argument sits on 'thinking'.. which has no merit. How do you even know plants don't try and communicate with us? Your entire post is just based off of absolutely nothing but clueless assumptions.

Wow, that was a whole lot of nothing in one post. Basic physiology isn't a doctor's quotes and is scientific. Then you have the studies proving vegetarians live longer. I have no religion, but thanks for asking.

Yup so why did you post up some MD saying humans were herbivore's when you stated above it proves nothing. Thank you for admitting your lack of support for your own argument Now THAT is priceless.

As for the blasphemy about your religion you are a speciesist. I watched you guys kill an innocent baby over an inter species bridge transplant. Then threaten to kill the transplant surgeon and the entire team. I've watched the religious wars. Good luck and sleep well.

My whole life I have been a red blooded meat eating omnivore.I recently watched the movie Vegucated on Netflix. It made me realize a few things. People eat way to much meat. The reason why so many Americans have high blood pressure and high cholesterol. So you say they have medicine for that. Medicine is not a cure it is a band aid. As soon as you stop taking the Medicine your problems are back.My goal for most of my life is to maintain a life style where I don't need to take any kind of medicine and so far so good. But I look at my parents lifestyle and they take 7+ medications on a daily basis. My pops takes 12+. It really scares me. The movie makes a big case for becoming a Vegan. But as far as health benefits, I have chosen to go the route of becoming a Vegetarian. After seeing how animals are being turned into machines to produce. Which they aren't and neither are we. The amount of suffering experienced by these animals at the expense of humans. I haven't told anyone about my choice, but it makes everything hard.I spend a lot of time with my parents and usually eat at least one meal a day with them. Now I just hangout and tell them i'm not hungry when the steak is on the table. Are there any other Vegetarians and or Vegans here? How did your family take it if they aren't?
dude you got into the shrooms again didnt you?

He's a speciesist. That's why his views are so offensive. Did you read about how plants have saved more lives than doctors? That was it.

I support the vegetarians and vegans and whatever anyone wants to eat for whatever reason. I think taking responsibility for your diet is the hallmark of an intelligent adult. But when diet becomes a religious war against our social mores so that innocents die, reference PETA for analogous behavior, it rises to the level of cult status but it's more polite to call it a religion.

Precisely eat what you feel is the best for you and your family. I have zero problem. Oh and I really enjoy Michael Franti. I'm jealous my son got to see him live LOL.
Saw him play on the beach. Talk about a fun show. He had a bunch of youngsters who where at the festival with their parents probably 4 or 5 yrs old come up and dance on stage and a lady who was celebrating her 60th birthday. Everyone loved him and his music and his vibes. If you ever get an opportunity to see him live I highly suggest it.

But as far as health benefits, I have chosen to go the route of becoming a Vegetarian.
That's how I started. I didn't know until a few months ago I had Aperger's. Many with this condition also have digestive problems. I personally think because of all the stress from sensory overload, it causes my type of body to become sensitive to what's bad for us but others just get tolerance towards. All humans have some sort of milk intolerance. A vegan diet is the only one where I never get an upset stomach at all. Even with a vegetarian diet I'd get this bloated feeling with cramps. I went from nearly redneck meat eater to hippy zen monk. That makes me feel very dirty, because up until about 8 years ago I'd make fun of those like myself. I'm such a sell out.
