Fall down go boom

Yeah so I got this seedling. it just kinda fell down today. not sure if I should even try to keep it. and I can't post a picture because my RIU is messed up or something. but simple to describe........ 3" tall, round leaves, true leaves, first set of 3(still small) and then a straight bend and shes laying flat. could my fan have pushed her over like that? or is it something else? I wish I could post a picture and show that there's nothing else wrong. still green, no notice of anything nutrient related. my 400w MH is on 50% and the seedlings are not in direct contact. they are all off to the side getting minimal light.

I do. I always drop the stems when I transplant. I was using CFL's till Friday when my MH came in the mail. so they got a little stretchy. the stem length doesn't have anything to do with WHY it fell though. I have 6 others at the same length 3 are the same strain and have had taller when I used only CFL for veg. I always transplant to 1"below the true leaves. just haven't done it with these because they are REG autos. I'm waiting to see what's what before I transplant. fem's into 7gal and males can stay in 8". i guess i can just chuck it. got plenty more.

yeah. I've read up on this strain and haven't heard the breeder mention it at all so it may just be a fluke case. like I said I got more... lol popping multiple for an autoflower solo cup contest. easily replaced. :)

2g is plenty big for Autos,No need for a 7g.

I was going to see if I could yield a little more than my last auto(AutoAK in my journal) I pulled 2oz in a 3.9gal container with 1 400w HPS.. but hey i'm still fairly new to all this. :) getting some pics together now of the Blue Thai that I think is dead.

There appears to be some form of nute burn. however she's one of 4 that has not gotten nutes yet. the Plugs were clean and the soilless mix was cleaned before use.(I fill whatever pot and leach the medium 2-3 days before planting, making sure it is not SOAKED when I plant.) You mentioned FFoF. sorry but that stuff and me... don't mix...... I use Botanicare ReadyGro. now anyways. just switched. used CocoGro before that. for years

pH was 6.6 when I planted them. I do not normally pH after I water anymore. I use General Organics which requires NO pHing. I'm only using tap water at the moment for the little ones. and nutes on the TrainWreck I got and Blue Dream. separate containers for the water so it's not from residue left behind. It's gotta be something in the plug that I didn't was out properly. I have no clue. If she looks worse tomorrow she's done. I have plenty more seeds that were NOT freebies from the tude. She was free, so it doesn't matter. :) however I worry about every little one I got now seeing as they were all planted the same way the same day.

What did the root system look like, and how long was the grow? That should tell ya,Surely a 3g,My smart pots on regs 3g is fine.Hella yield for a auto Rt,I dont grow em,got a pic?

PLENTY let me flip through the grow for ya......... gimmie a minute to post it. 60day seed-harvest. Root mass was FILLING the sides of the pot. She started and finished in the same 3.9 gal.

you mean how they get when they are COMPRESSED against the side? if that's what you mean, yes. it could have been in a larger pot. the root mass would have grown bigger which only makes me think the plant could have been bigger.

Yeppers I concur,one reason I use smart pots,prevents root spinout and self pruning,and better air exchange at roots.

I thought it was just because of the Coco itself, and they stretched to the sides for more o2 during watering? hence the reason you "rim the pot" after it started to pull away from the side when drying. I didn't realize how root-bound she was until after I cut her down. any root that started to protrude from the bottom dried up and disappeared. I thought she was fitting nicely. G13 labs Auto AK btw. Freebie from my first order at the attitude. I may try out a few "air pots" I think they are called. super expesive because it's missing so much plastic.(pisses me off with that shit. Visor cost as much or more than a hat. sandels cost as much or more than shoes. air pots cost MORE than regular pots.) hahaha but I may try a few. When I FIRST saw them I thought they would be HORRIBLE because any root that comes out will die. but people are showing success so why not try 1 or 2 in the garden. Smart pots are the cloth ones right? well fabric or whatever it is.

That curling of the leaves there is definitely a ph problem. Check your ph and put it to 6.5, newer growth should be fine after.
