I would have shot 3 people that were in my house uninvited by now. One was a man with Alzheimers, a teenager, and another......they all scared the shit out of me.

So you cut their heads off with a sword? Beat them to death with a bat? What did you do to them?

Believe me, if I see a 95 year old little frail old lady accidentally walk into my house, I aint gonna shoot her. LOL, but if she smashes my door down in an effort to get in, BANG!!

Do you think Zimmerman is going to appeal a not guilty verdict? Dude, you need to read up a bit on law. Don't bring the ignorance into this thread, you will be very embarrassed if you do. This section is for the adults.
Juries are always to be trusted right?

You misunderstand, this case is irrelevant. The jury process is not a way to absolution. I dont trust it to validate the verdict as truth. I know quite a bit about the law actually and disagree that the argument is now closed for debate.

I would have to react and I don't know if I would pull the trigger if I could control him with a weapon alone? If armed, it would be easier but I am more of bat, cattle prod, mace, sword type. Plus, killing someone that is going to do real time is a blessing for them. The use of alternatives seems like an option that should accompany a gun....no?
I would agree on that and apply the degree of force the situation warrants, but at the same time you cannot enter the situation on the back foot either. Sometimes to gain compliance use of force is required.

The old man was in my bed and thought he was at home. I beleived he was mental pretty quickly and just helped him out. Turned out he was filed as a missing person and contacted the authorities as well as his family to get him. I had a dog that was a sheperd/wolf and her territory was undisputable. I released her and she bit the guy in the ass but he got over the fence. The teen was stealing and had no Idea i was planning an ambush. I locked him in the garage and scared him severely.

Someone who claims to know something about the law would not ask about appeals.

If a court acquits the defendant, the prosecutor may not appeal the verdict. Appealing a verdict of "not guilty" would violate the Double Jeopardy Clause of the Fifth Amendment.

always, there is no alternative. You either get judged by your peers or you get judged by the judge, which do you prefer? The thing about the Jury is, they ALL have to agree to the verdict.
I understand, but lawyers that are the real deal will steam roll the truth. So, my point is not the options rather the variables.

Again u misunderstand, juries are imperfect. A guilty verdict can be appealed because of that fact
Actually, you are dead wrong on this, there is no appeal to a guilty verdict based on, "I think the jury made the wrong decision", the jury's verdict is not appealable. You have to have some other basis for your appeal: the judge fucked up somehow, the prosecutor withheld exculpatory evidence, improper jury instructions, etc.

No, it cannot. The jury could have all conspired to award a not guilty and it could be proven, but Zimm will never go to court for this matter EVER AGAIN no matter what.

ONLY the DEFENDANT can appeal a case. ONLY the defendant can appeal on basis of a bad jury, tampering etc etc. The prosecution is POWERLESS to do shit and will be for all time.
