i see no amber yet and they look like 70% cloudy to me. Idk second opinion anyone?

Thanks y'all. :D I will post a few pictures in a bit. We took some more with the camera we got courtesy of hbbum :D but they're on our home computer and I'm at school. I'll post those tonight. One of our autos is almost done too!

oh! i responded in one of my threads a while back... i can't remember where or which one LOL. we're moving probably come fall, so we can't start anything new right now :((( I CANT WAIT tho!!

everything is great! we kicked Dirt-y Girl out of the tent/put her outside as she was being droopy and temperamental... but i think it's just cause she missed me while I was in Htown hahahaha. hopefully we can Neem the shit out of her until she's clear enough of bugs to put back in the tent. speaking of which, our tent is FULL. lol

Miz.. last night i smoked some of the finest Blue dream i have ever encountered. ive smoked it b4
but this .... idk if it was a pheno or just cured like a master. but the taste and look of this bud... amazing.
it made me instantly jealous of u lol. cure it right man and your gonna have some great smoke.
Blue dream was my #2 favorite. but this pheno or whatever jumped it to #1 ahead of durban poison lol

blue dream is one of my fav "old" strains! and white widow... we got some around the same time we got this BD and i WISH that sucka had seeds! white widow is my favvvvv. probably bc i like the name, but it always gets me high AF.

and yeah we like the scope :D it's a bit of a pain in the ass but if one of us holds the scope and one of us clicks it works great!

and good one bird dog... hahahahah i see what you did there! ;)

if anyone has some good tips or whatever for curing that would be swell... we smoked a little last night with a quick 15 minute oven "cure" and it got us super baked. lol

Hey Miz,

ive been using boveda packs after 3 days of hang dry. Do a google of it, they work awesome and will stop it from drying out and getting dusty.

The Boveda packs are awesome for curing for curing, just dry your buds on the stem until the outside is crispy but still a little spongy and the stem doesn't quite snap and then finnish the trimming and then I toss them in a brown paper bag for a couple days to get a good RH reading (around 65 is good) then to the jars with a pack in each jar. No burping required. Don't pack them to tight, and if you can leave a small hygrometer in one of them so you can keep an eye out. I did occasionally dump the jars and rotated everything in the jar, but it was probably not needed.

Cool y'all. Is the Bovida thing legit? I read a shitload about curing today, hehe. I think I understand now but I haven't decided whether to use those packets w a hydrometer or just do the burp method... Maybe I'll try half and half...? :eyesmoke:

When I harvest, I do it the same way every year. I trim all the junk off and hang them upside down from a rafter rope, I run two fans that face upward to the branches. I check them every day and make adjustments, as needed. When I suspect that they are ready for the jars, I try and break several branches. If they just kind of bend on a 90 degree pull, I wait another day, until I can break branches. Final step is that I dismantle the buds and place them onto newpaper for a day or two...then to the jars and the bong. And I always get excellent compliments on my cures. Works for me, but maybe not for you. Did Bak say that you are two weeks out on your girls? They are absolutely beau ti ful! They look like they have several weeks to go to me. How many days have they been in flower. Mine are at day 67, swollen, and very sticky. I've been sneaking from the cookie jar for the past two weeks and it gets better with every bud. Check my thread out later (if you are up)...I'm gonna take a few pics when the lights go out. Rock on... :mrgreen:

Honestly, jars & burping have worked fine with me. But i've been reading alot on these bovida bags, and it seems like the "next best thing"
