Wasn't mr vega the guy who flipped out over not getting his seed order and then it showed up anyways?

Kind of ironic, him telling other people to chill out, if so.

I do agree though, chillin' out is always a good thing.
I dunno I don't really have an axe to grind. I don't think sub's ignoring him I've asked plenty of questions in the nerd thread that haven't been answered... a lot of things get posted, sub doesn't respond to them all, you can't take it personal and gotta relax about it is all I'm saying. It's just a website :) Timewreck n Ace of Spades puttin me in a happy place tonight :)

The weather can be fine for veg and early flower, but it is late flower that makes or breaks you outdoors. I find almost any amount of rain after week 5, and you are looking at bud rot.
Interesting observation ;), you need a strain that is acclimated to your grow area if you receive more rain then you would like... Also, the attributation of mold and bud rot, has a lot to do with how you are training the plants outside... For example if you are growing larger plants and also pruning them extensively ... A lot of people will tell you to grow them in a big ball and give support by belting them to stay upright... However plants like this will prolly get to tall and be susceptible to wind damage, stem splitting, as well as mold and rot.

Outdoor growing, especially guerrilla style, is such a gamble. Between the slugs, the caterpillars, the rabbits, the wind, the rain, the mold, PM, the helicopters, the hikers- nothing is a guarantee. But man- is that smoke ever rewarding come October.

Because real stoners have been having "Safety Meetings" for a very long time, on a construction site you can't be yelling out hey Joe lets go burn one before we start on this hard ass work we have to do. Instead people just started saying Time for a safety meeting :)

I like it! I'm all about safety on the job site! I'm having a safety meeting by myself right now. Time wreck makes for one thorough meeting too.

"safety breaks"- I love it. Actually I think weed improves service worker performance. When you're working these hard jobs for low pay a little weed really goes a long way. If you've ever worked as a line cook at Perkins, you'll know what I mean. It's pretty incredible to be lit-up from taking hits on the line and running a wheel. That's cooking about 10 tickets all at the same time while jamming to music and looking at hot waitresses. When you get "in the zone" there's nothing else like it. Sometimes when I was a kid, I thought I should be paying them.

Nerds, can anyone help me out with some pest questions.
ive finally got some pests to play with, first time ever ive had any pests and been growing a good few years, only have it on one plant that has just been transplanted up with new soil, which has to be the culprit. Plagron Light Mix for folks to know.

Ok, so I have Eds marijuana saver and am being a bit lazy As i could probably google it as sub would say, but fuck it, :)

I either have Aphids or Thrips, I'm pretty convinced they are aphids but the black specks confused me as ed says this is thrip shit or something.

I started to notice a few leaves were marked a few days back, just the little sort of short wiggly lines that kinda look like snail slime at first, but only in specks. So I got my lens out and there's these yellowy little fuckers, looks more like aphids to me. They are only on the underside of the leaf too, eds book suggest this is aphids.

its just the black specks confused me and also the photos of damage in the book, both would suggest thrips. But they are only on the bottom of the leaves, not the top and they don't jump like the book says thrips can do.

so until my Pythereum arrives, or however it's spelt, it's the natural insecticide from chrysanthemums flowers, I just wiped them off the leaves with a damp cloth, I prob only saw 20 or so, so hopefully I can stop them and the pythereum 5 Ec stuff kills on contact supposedly.

i presuming this pyrethrum stuff is similar to the spinosad that sub used for his soil drench, in fact it's a natural insecticide, only thing that concerned me was that its classed as a possibly dangerous pollutant if it gets into water supply etc as it kills a lot of shit, and also that its prob not popular outdoors as it will wipeout beneficial insects too.
But everywhere i read said its prob the best solution for pests and is totally organic and natural, and even people saying u can use it upto 2 days before harvest as it will completely disappear within a day, though I won't be trying this myself!

any advice or tips appreciated cheers.
