SinCity LVBK SOG

OK so in a week less than 12cm of stretch, can you believe... Pretty decent. A few more mums had to go into flower, going to clone the strongest branch or two off each next week just before they hit full flower, get me some POWER clones, they always seem to just jump ahead then. Soil is almost done cooking so it's time to move the coco pots out the tent to prepare for going organic.

I also have more beans on the way so 7 mums of one strain was just ridiculous. Who would've thought, a whole 7?! It ends up being bit of a waste of space, think I need to bust out the last 600 and hood to keep it tidy in there.

And I have a little Critical Super Silver Haze in the DWC bucket now too so I've really scooped a lot on my plate.

DWC is BADASS. My first time doing it and guys, I really frigging LIKE it!! Once those roots go, they GO for it. Had bit of a rough hand in transplant so it took them a few days to get over that, but my stars, they are looking GREAT, healthy and deep green, even the CSSH as a little baby looks STRONG already.

Forgot to take camera in AGAIN. Was quite the epic cleanup though, I'll get some pics tomorrow.

PS: Weirdest thing, some of the preflowers are turning into LEAVES. I can honestly say it is the first time ever I see that. Pretty freaky. I was like hey, is that a boy flowe.... no it's not a ball... Is it a caly.. no man WTF. A tiny little LEAF. Had me looking for normal preflowers till I found them. Freaked me out a tad till I checked it out, I almost thought my gals were mutating into boys.

On one of the faster ones, it's already a little branch sticking out where the preflowers were, with two TEENY leaves, but proper leaves. You guys ever come across that? Like I said, really tripped me out for a while till I sussed it.

OK I've put all but one mum into flower, clones off each to be kept of course... So I am guessing next worthy update will be in 2 weeks when there's proper bud development so I am going to wait till then to post again LOL... This thread is lacking in the PORN so far.

I can't help it, I'm a Sativa boy and my fascination was drawn to Bodhi's Dream Beaver, I expect the seeds here in the next 10 days, and I think I am going to focus on those the second they arrive. And I am now ITCHING to run the CSSH, Raider you were not the first to report your kind of yields, and on the CSSH guys are really not only talking yield, but incredible flavour. She's starting to kick out nice fat roots, already topped her enough for a very bushy mom.
I really do prefer mothering up a Sativa to an Indica. Guess I am more used to it. Just top a few times and BOOM, she feeds you shoots for MONTHS. The LVBK seems almost reluctant to do that for me. I will slowly get a handle on her, don't worry ;) Really wish I went mainline from the beginning, it is definitely the way. The shoots split into two as normal, sure, but with my sats all the nodes under where I topped would also make STRONG shoots, nice thick stems, whereas the LVBK just, well, divides into two. Weird.
The fresh LVBK seedlings also looking stellar, almost ready for that first topping, going mainline with these for SURE.

So yeeeeah looks like the SoG is going Tahoe again for a while too. Go figure. And I am camera-less again, RATS. I just had one on loan for a while, sigh... Spent my camera budget on mycos, beans, other organic goodies like molasses, and some new HPS bulbs.

Perhaps I can find somebody that wants to trade DANK reefer for a nice camera lol, because I don't sell herb I've gotten some EPIC trades before. I shall just will it toward me, like a JEDI. A red-eye jedi. Yes. 'Luke, come join me on the DANK side of the force....'

Some of those indica dom. strains hate to be topped. My grape god absolutely hated being topped. Seriously would slow down and yield less. I simply could not top it and get multiple tops for nothing, but now those sativa's seem to love being topped. Cheers.

Yo Hamish don't give up on the LVBK prissy indica strains tend to be very potent, low yielder, but potent. The slow growing fussy blueberry I had long ago was on the verge of being culled but something inside told me to flower her anyway and boy I'm glad I did. To this day I still dream of that long lost blueberry cut from 02'.
Try just letting one of the clones grow like a christmas tree.

From the ad picture of the LVBK, it does look like one of the more fussy indica strains, most are very hardy. Cheers and best of luck to you.

I think some other seed banks have a picture of purple power or power purple instead of LVBK. The purple power is LVBK x blue power also.

Which I thought that is how they made the LVBK that you picked up as well(edit:not how they made the LVBK, misread sincity site, sorry) . So guess they have two strains with LVBK x blue power, according to their website. That might be the other promo picture you have seen.

Thanks Lady H, very good to have you on board! Funny I realised about 10 minutes ago I have too much happening to squeeze it all on this thread which is bound to happen, so I just created https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/706714-mhs-thread-random-dankness.html#post9473180 for everything but the LVBK. I was figuring rather keep this one straight and clean so people interested in this strain specifically can find the info they need easily. I'm just too free-flowing and I don't want to distract from a good honest review with this one, MANY people insanely interested in the LVBK and SinCity in general.
So feel free to come derail the thread, anything goes on that one, seriously :) I will probably as things progress with the LVBK come and delete some redundant chit-chat off here anyhow in interest of pure science so I can offer an objective view of the LVBK. Already mixed too much personal preference into my comments :/ I feel that will end up being misleading in the end, a review should have no bias so I will come and filter it out for sure...

Hey, be proud of your free-flowering nature! It's wonderful. I am going straight over to the Thread Of Random Dankness to see what's occurring. Will sub that too. Laters. x

As soon as the flip to 12/12 happens, the LVBK seems to shift gears, put on a fat manic grin, and hit the pedal right to the metal.

I have to say, slow vegging aside, come flowering time she unleashes her energy. And I am not talking a looong stretch, the first week is like fullpower vegging, still got tight nodes and the stretch that is happening seems more from the growth tips going faster rather than the branch stretching out. This is quite cool.

They are starting to get hungry for Cal/Mag now. I buffered the crap out of the coco but they want MORE already and we're not even in proper full flower yet. Looks like a week before I see the first STRONG pistils. Right now, they're in superveg mode.

And 10/10 for outright beauty. I took a quick snap or two but the photo uploader is giving me some hassle, I will try again a tad later, maybe even try get better pics under the HPS without switching off or having to carry them out anywhere, I just don't like doing that, got a VERY secure area pretty much sealed off and moving them around kinda negates all the security measures :/

Flower end week 1... I apologise for the psychedelic colouring, I tried to get a nice pic by shading the HPS and using flash, not great but still better than HPS alone. She really is damn pretty now, bit of Mg def starting but I am dealing with that nicely...

I am loving the looks of her Hamish in the picture above. You know I get the whole CaMg def. I am off to see the new thread.

That's one beautiful indie lady Hamish. Great structure to her. She looks as if she wants to get nice and big for you. Peace out.

Firstly i'd just like to convey my thanks as i've been looking for a well documented LVBK grow, so thank you.

Dude them plants are looking real healthy, and are unquestionably pulchritudinous.

And i think i speak for most of RIU when i say I'm looking forward to harvest just as much as you are, as you picked a strain that not many people have tried, and you seem like you know what your doing, so i think everyone will want to see the potential this LVBK has to offer.

Have you noticed any phenotype variation so far?

Additionally if you have a copious harvest i have pair of lungs that i can lend you :) :weed::hug::weed:

Keep us updated,
Pea'ssss
