Hey there friendly stoners...Friday is almost here, so start making your plans now! Thanks to all that commented on my grow here. I'll try and get some better trich pics tonight Bak...you may have a good point there to try no flash or camera light ( I did have the camera light on). Also, thanks to doobie for some nice respectable comments...I do try and stay organized.
Hope you are doing great too miz! I'm glad the hubby was able to stay back at home and nurture your beautiful girls. I imagine that they are getting closer by now...keep us posted with update pics please. Now for taking care of your girls when you have to go out of town for a few days. There are two methods that I have used depending on how long we would be gone. The first is the milk jug technique and the second is a small hydro pump:
Milk Jug(s): Fill one or more cleaned out gal milk jugs (or similar) with water and/or your nute feed (don't forget to add water to your nutes...right Bak). Run a small rope from a joist above the plant site and tie the rope to the handle of the milk jug so that the milk jug is positioned directly above the plant or right beside it. When you are ready to leave, poke one or two "small" holes into the botoom of the milk jug so that you end up with, what I call, a small drip leak. I usually pre-test this system into a bowl to see how much water or feed is released in 24 hours.
Hydro Pump: This method could jump into your wallet a bit, but I have all this onhand already since I do both hydro and dirt. Fill your water repository up. Then attach a small hydro water line on the pump and submerse it into the repository. Attach a timer to the pump system and set it to run for your 1 or two minute duration every 24 hours. Pre-test this one too, as I cam home one time from a Jamaica trip and found an empty repository and a flooded tent. Elevation of the repository is important...you should be drawing the water upward instead of downward.
Both systems work, and hopefully one or both will benefit you and others. Rock on Lady!
