Minimize the Fallout Should You Get Busted For Growing...

Since we're all growers, and we're all worried (or should be) about getting busted...

Here are the proactive things I've done to minimize the fallout (i.e. my legal liabilities) should I get busted for growing...

1. I keep my grow area isolated to a small part of my house. It makes me feel like my grow looks "small-time"...

2. I keep NO WEIGHING DEVICES in my house...cops use even food weighing scales found in the kitchen as "evidence" that growers are growing to SELL and/or TRAFFIC...no shit...

3. I keep NO PLASTIC BAGGIES in my house...cops use those as "evidence" as in (2) above...no shit...

4. I don't have anything in my house that could be used as evidence of cloning...even though I do clone...but I do it the old-fashioned way...I just cut and plant in rooting cubes...no cloning devices of any sort...not even homemade ones...

5. I have MEMORIZED the phone number of the BEST marijuana defense lawyer in my area...

6. I have watched the video "Don't Talk to the Police" MANY times, and know the drill...NEVER ANSWER POLICE QUESTIONS...just call the lawyer whose phone number you've memorized like I said in (5) above...

7. I limit my grow to 4 plants in veg, and 3 in flower, at any given time...it makes my grow look "small-time"...

So, if the cops busted your grow, would they be able to give the DA enough evidence to convict you as a seller/trafficker? If so, then you're an idiot...

and i don't really see the harm in having cloning agents around so long as you only have say 8 plants, who cares if they came from seed or clone??

My GUESS is that cops would use cloners as "evidence" that you were looking to "mass produce"...thus to convict you as a "seller/tafficker"... again, my guess...but I do suspect...

Those are GR8 words of wisdom, to those looking to AVOID detection by LEO...and I personally adhere to your words of wisdom, as should every grower...

But the gist of my original post was "What are you doing to minimize the fallout SHOULD you get busted for growing?"...not prevention, but what can you do NOW to prepare for the worst case scenario, if indeed it happens...because it IS possible...

So, are you as prepared as you could be if you were to get busted for growing?...I am...at least I THINK I am...

On the question of, "used as evidence" indeed anything and everything will be attempted to be used against you in a court of law.

And if you have a good attorney to play to Judge assignment game, baggies and kitchen scales won't go into evidence on the common household item argument.

It will all show up on your pre-sentencing, but that is disputed by said attorney. I had an oral syringe, irrigating 4 wisdom teeth pockets. My PSR, tried to paint me as a needle user. The syringe had a long curved, gooseneck tip to a tiny point that would never hold a needle.

The judge ignored it and accept my written explaination.

I shit you not. When cops around here find drugs in cars they actually check to see if the car is financed. If it isnt it is now police property. I guess it is harder to confiscate a car with a loan on it and turn it into a undercover. But they will still tow it to impound for "inventory" and wont release it until the owner shows up and pays the fees if they let it go at all. It could stay there for "evidence" until after the court date

I'm a degreed, professional engineer who (in my job) is expected to have all the answers...to all questions asked, and to 99.5% of all questions unasked...and to 97.5% of all other questions as well...if I want to keep my job...and I do, since it far exceeds 6 figures annually...

Responsible adults act responsibly...and plan ahead...for retirement, and in case their world is invaded by LEO...grow up you stupid punk asshole...the real world is waiting for your emergence...
