9 plants / 1000 watt mh/hps / 4x4 flood tray. ( seeking info )

Thanks man. Harvest isn't for another 5 or so weeks. From what I'm reading GSC is a 10 week flower. I'm setting my goals high for 2 lbs. I know it can be done in a 5x5 space but I don't think I have the right strain to achieve that. I attempted lollipopping and the plants love it everytime I remove all the lower growth so I'm hoping that will plump up some of those main colas.
From what's said about the cookies she doesn't yield high but she taste real good and nice stone.

I'm expecting GSC to be a low to mid yielder. Genetics are top shelf however and I'm really looking forward to the smoke she produces.

I didn't do any training of the plants, no LST or scrogging. I removed all the lower growth during the 2nd and 4th weeks of flower to prevent rotting mainly but they ended up getting lollipopped.
I didn't do any training on my last grow and was not happy with yield I did diamond OG and NYSD and did not yield good at all and I did co2 . Which is why I'm looking to do some lst, suppercropping, or whatever

That Diamond OG looks FROOOOOOOOSTY super super nice nug there bro. What was the yield on your previous grow? I'm going to be using a proper scrog my next grow combined with a fresh new RDWC system to replace the coco I've got running now. I expect to see bigger faster yields using DWC.

Thanks this the NYSD . The quality in both were amazing but the yield sucked only 14.5 ounces but I cramed the a 4x4 tray with 28 plants 1000 watt hps for veg and flower . 17 were NYSD and I yielded only 3 oz total dry weight and the rest were diamond OG and I got 11.5 ounces of those . So the NYSD really fucked me over. And plus I did a 17 day veg the plants were tangled . It was a mess lol . I defiantly did do my research on space, yield, and light and number of plants and time of veg . But the quality was amazing . This time I did my research and only doing the 9 plants under 1000 watt mh for veg and hps for flower . I also got a Larry OG going in a DWC system under 240 watt

I'm going to be honest, the Diamond OG looks better, and the fact that you produced more of that with fewer plants is a sign. I believe that even with 9 plants you will still end up with a tangled mess. I sure as hell do. Everytime I take my plants out to trim them up it's a headache putting them back in without smashing the buds. I think 4 plants under 1000w is the way to go unless you're doing very quick sog harvests but I hate the idea of looking after a ton more plants only to yield out a couple weeks early. Nawmean?

Ya I'm defiantly never doing NYSD it's good but the diamond was amazing compared to it . And I'm hoping not to get a tangled mess that's I will do LST the whole time in veg and I pre staked the 8x8 cubes Bamoo sticks 3 times in each cube to open canopy or to tie down the plant to lst . And if I were to do 4 under 1000 watt I would go DWC, cages , and blue dream lol

It ain't cheap. Run you between $950-1200 depending on the vendor.
The system is pretty expensive. I'm looking to spend some money on some led . Have you heard of the solar storm led before ? If so, what's your opinion on the 400 watt on yield, space , and how money pants it will cover and produce properly with a month of veg or with craming plants and just going to 12/12 with like a week of veg

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Don't go LED, you'll regret it I promise you. I have an LED journal somewhere in Indoor Growing. Light penetration sucks, the cost is ridiculous, and it's really only good as a supplemental lighting for an HID, which in that case you can supplement it with more HID. LED still produces enough heat to where you need an AC in a tented area, and you won't be saving as much as you think in electricity. Trust me brotha, learn from my mistake of buying an LED as my first light.

True I the only reason I would get it is too add to my 1000 watt light so I can run 1000 watt hps/mh and 400 watt led . I'd still only be using 9 plants and a 4x4 flood tray ??
That 1000 watter you have covers a 5x5 footprint. Now if you're doing this in the middle of a room then I would have the 4x4 flood tray directly under the 1000 watter and you can have vertical 250 watters hanging around the sides of the plants.

I do have it directly under I plant on adding reptile bulbs under the canopy with these fluorescent light fixtures I have for supplement lighting . They seem to work really good for potency on my last run

You'd have to show me a picture of what you mean but sounds interesting. I'd leave the LEDs alone unless you're already set on buying them. There are 3,4, and even 5 watt chipsets out now and will be replacing the 2 watt chipsets a lot of LED grow light manufacturers are using at the moment. 5 watts out of a single LED bulb is a lot and I hope they create the light penetration an HID offers.
