I was in it, but I dropped out.
Try getting some of the cardboard to go drink trays that Mc Donalds gives out, or get a 2x4, cut 2 pieces, stand on the side and screw a piece of 1/4" ply to the top and poke you some holes for the cups to sit into.

He was a good fish.I know that when the started to flower they stretched big time, then got hungry as hell.I fed after the 2nd week of flower with a little Epsom,a little honey, and the 15-30-15,been using a 4 month feed "professional" potting soil from Dollar General.I think they're starting to get a little stressed about the solos and its a real chore to water.....well i have 21 plants in all in solos(4 toms). It hadn't been easy:eyesmoke:

Naw,its Expert gardener brand,it's usually right beside the MG in a yellow box for a dollar cheaper:)
Any reason why???
Not really, I just remember that's what the MG all purpose is, and I came across a link to a grow tonight comparing MG soil to FFOF which made me think of it because I used MG nutes, MG soil, and MG perlite for my Winter plant I finished with 2 3/4 oz. cured when people say MG is shit.
BTW, the MG plant was keeping up.

That's funny there was something on tv recently about organic vs. non-organic grown veggies. The majority, damn near all, chose non-organic.Something to think about:confused:

And I'm not one to flush either, but I've never had a comment or complaint.
Although I have no qualms about using MG or non-organics....I am a organic gardener at heart,my outside garden(which hasn't done so well this year)is
organic.I like to use Jobes brand organic granules, either tomato or vegetable, one of them is more balanced and I like to mix it in my soil, the other top feed during flower.Does anyone else use HONEY instead of molasses???Since im using non-org I try to use just water as much as I can. You've seen some of my other MG grows,we've all seen yours:),there ain't nothing wrong with using Miracle Grow.

I did an A/B comparison using tomatoes. I used to run a tomato farm, 6 plastic tunnes and a few net greenhouses too, sawdust culture so it was full-power hydro.

I did 3 organic patches outside. MOSTLY, the Hydro outperformed, yield, flavour, texture the works. Only my most sandy soil with the least clay ended up being close on the flavour.

So I have come to suspect that when doing organic, TERROIR is an important factor. We have known for hundreds of years that the RIGHT or WRONG soil is mostly what determines the outcome of a bottle of wine. Why we haven't made this mental leap towards the taste of veggies etc, I don't know.

Good morning folks. Here is my morning rant on organics, caffeine is kicking in, oh yeah.

Non-organic vegetables are treated with additives to make them look superior in color, shape, size, texture, taste, and other things. Obviously, that doesn't mean it's good for you and in most cases it is bad for you. When I'm at the grocery store shopping apples, tomatoes, oranges, whatever, the non-organic always looks better on the shelf. The organic produce never shines or has intense colors.

The primary benefit of growing without chemicals is to keep the chemicals out of your body, not necessarily to grow bigger, prettier plants. Applied to marijuana, organics shouldn't hide the actual taste of the bud or make them look better than nature intended. Let's face it, our bodies have enough toxic exposure (as I remove my phone from my front pocket), we can at least control what we put in our bodies.

Last issue with organic produce and meat is the expense. Organic, locally grown produce and meat is always very expensive and hard to find. It's hard to change your mental programing and acknowledge produce has a season. As a society, we need to learn how to resist the urge for instant gratification. Produce should not be trucked or flown across the planet followed by a toxic carbon footprint just so we can have fresh strawberries and bananas in December.

So there you go, Tuesday rant completed. No go about your day and make it a good one!

Pic of the day. Look at my ugly, organic plants!!!

I only buy Organic meat/beef/chicken, I have seen how they produce the non organic meat and don't like it, much rather eat a little less meat or save on other stuff

We eat less meat in our diets (organic, grass fed - very expensive), but better quality. Big steak for me is 6 oz. fillet, aged, prime, grass-fed, Wagyu processed at my local butcher. Simply amazing and I only have it once every couple months. Mouth is watering just thinking about it!

Here are a few sad statistics on the U.S.

Each day, 1 in 4 Americans visits a fast food restaurant
In 1972, we spent 3 billion a year on fast food - today we spend more than $110 billion
McDonald's feeds more than 46 million people a day - more than the entire population of Spain
French fries are the most eaten vegetable in America
You would have to walk for seven hours straight to burn off a Super Sized Coke, fry and Big Mac
In the U.S., we eat more than 1,000,000 animals an hour
60 percent of all Americans are either overweight or obese
One in every three children born in the year 2000 will develop diabetes in their lifetime
Left unabated, obesity will surpass smoking as the leading cause of preventable death in America
The average child sees 10,000 TV advertisements per year
Only seven items on McDonald's entire menu contain no sugar
Willard Scott was the first Ronald McDonald - he was fired for being too fat
McDonald's distributes more toys per year than Toys-R-Us
Diabetes will cut 17-27 years off your life
McDonald's: "Any processing our foods undergo make them more dangerous than unprocessed foods" The World Health Organization has declared obesity a global epidemic
Surgeon General David Satcher: "Fast food is a major contributor to the obesity epidemic"
Most nutritionists recommend not eating fast food more than once a month 40 percent of American meals are eaten outside the home

Those statistics are so dang sad Pros, good grief brother. Last time I was at the hospital I asked for some bottoms instead of the ol` open backed dress thingy. They gave me a pair of draw string pajamas that I could have made a friggin tent out of. I asked what I was suppose to do with these as I weigh 110 wet with clothes on, and their response was tie it around your waist a couple of times if you have to, it's one size fits all. I just thought to myself, only in America would the universal size be "HUGE"! I mean really people WTF is going on when you can make sails out of somebody's pajama bottoms. Don't let them lie to you about comfort factors with MRI being too uncomfy, and that's why they have the open ones now. Way too many people weren't fitting in them, and that's why they have open ones now. I'm sure technology would have come along sooner or later, and the design would have went this way, but I talked to a tech, and he was telling me how he had to take somebody to a zoo to get an mri on them before. A ZOO people are you friggin kidding me, good grief. The tech told me that there is a Scrubs episode where they had to take someone to the zoo to get them an mri, and I was rolling on the floor. If you have a glandular problem or something ok, you should be overweight, but if you just sit around eating that's messed up, you know. There is way too many health gym's around to be riding rascals everywhere people. Most of the people that get those scooters claim they have knee, and joint problems, but if you're 150lbs over weight, you're gonna have joint problems, good grief. It seems like half the handicapped parking is taken by obese people, and they're all parked at the grocery store. You see those huge people hovering around on the store shopping cart scooters pulling an extra cart behind them. You just want to ask them "Are you serious?" as they roll bye bumping it all into you, while you're holding your basket of organic veggies. I admit, I'm underweight, but I'd rather hoola hoop through a cheerio than be addicted to them. Sorry about the rant people. Peace out.
