How big are the holes you dug? Mine are 3 foot circles about 2-3 feet deep. Not getting the size your getting at all. I'm thinking the plant size in my area might be retarded by the high winds.

3.5 x 3.5 as square as possible. I am going to add 1-2 foot beds after harvest.
More root space never hurt anything :)

Well its only a third of the way through July and plants are doing well. I started them from clones early May. Plants shown are Purple Crack, Girl Scout Cookies, Voodoo, Lavender, Wonder woman. Tallest plant is at 5'6", smallest is at 3'. Next year I wanna try the "double veg" or greenhouse start.
So Boss, given where your girls are at now, do you still feel the same about getting that early start?

hell yeah! can't wait to see yer show next year when you hit the ground running! next year I'm going for a jan start instead of a feb start. If it didn't push me over my limits on numbers, I'd probably get next year's started now!

My morning ritual today included cold pressed mate, vaping the finest meds, and being TOTALLY INSPIRED by GARDEN BOSS!!! Sitting here looking out at my own green house with my gals in 20 gal brutes all healthy loving life growing like crazy, and yet I'm just so absolutely humbled by your beautiful garden, it is CLEAR you LOVE what you do! It is threads like this that make growers like myself work HARDER to ATTAIN that HIGHER LEVEL KNOWLEDGE. May we all be blessed to watch and learn! Keep it up Garden Boss!

I use a local 420 mix ($50yard), added perlite loam etc. As far as gophers, no. I dug all my holes 3.5ft cubed then lined with double layers of chicken wire. It has been working awesome so far. Labor intensive prep work. pictures 3 026.jpgDSCN2636.jpg
