I think it started off as a legit competition for growers to showcase their strains but with everything leading towards the almighty dollar and seed companies making millions of dollars in the current day I can't help but think the whole thing is as phony as a 3 dollar bill.
Serious though, email HT mag, and ask how legit it is and see what kind of answer you get back, if any.

Oh yeah, I put my hygrometer in my clone box to watch rH levels and the screen went blank after awhile, I put it back in the flower closest and it went back to normal, but is there a better one I should use in my clone box to make sure I'm doing the right levels or should I just spray the fk out of it and it should be fine, I know clones get stem rot problems.

TBH bro, I don't even worry about my RH, let alone have a meter.
I live in the south, so I know what high RH is, and I figure if it's uncomfortable to me, then it's uncomfortable to my girls too.

Well I know when it feels uncomfortable for me, but the south is just waay too hot for me haha. The thing is that the rH around the clones or seeds will be from 40 to 60, I heard you're suppose to have them at 90. :???:??

Stem rot is a result of over saturated medium. if using plugs make sure they are not SOAKED.
same goes for anything really. and NO WATER in the tray below the plugs or whatever you use.

If you got the 72 insert with the tray and dome just mist your clones daily as well as the entire lid.
make sure you never let it dry out in there and you will root.

I get roots in 7-10 days now. and used to rot every single clone less than 6 months ago. lol

This the thread we hanging out tonight? because I'm drinking and wouldn't mind talking haha. Here is video of me ripping out my Mobius (stereo matrix perc) with some purple urkle. I love the strain, hope to grow it some day. Too bad it's not more recent, my booze bottles in the background as curved around to where that closest templeton bottle is, I like booze too. :D

I'm testing some seeds in rock wool cubes in the chamber, spraying it when I think is needed, just to see if I can at least sprout a seed, let alone take clones. I'll get it figured out, that's what the hobby is about, trial and error.

I also mist mine like 4+ times a day. I'm always home so it's easy for me.
I work from home so I check on my plants like 50 times a day I swear haha. I'd be well acceptable to misting regularly everyday if need be, I just rather have it down with a hygrometer, liked I asked before, but I've found in past experiences that I have better results "going with the flow" then following straight directs haha.

The reason for misting is NOT for humidity.....
As they create roots you still need to water them.
Foliar feeding with plain water or some sort of cloning solution is the way you water them.
the leaves dry up before the rest of the dome and tray. because the little cuttings are taking it in.
as they build roots out the bottom they souldn't be taking in water until they've established a few root points.

Once I notice roots from the bottom/sides of the plug I STOP misting and just let them be.
they are then drinking from the plug and will be fine as long as the plug stay moist until planted. :)

Alright. Yeah I make sure no water is at the bottom. I've just been misting randomly, but if it's not for humidity and it might be maxed out I might need to watch it a little closer, that's why I was asking about a hygrometer that can withstand the humidity and the screen don't fk up on me. I'll be testing cuttings after seedlings. The seedlings I'll trash, from a trash strain that never grew well, but if I can get it to sprout I'm doing something right, then I'll try cloning, see what I can do.
