Here are some pics of the nutes I use. I think you should always customize your nutrient recipe. Some products are good for a base, some suck. Right now the nutes I"m on are House and Garden Hydro A and B, Cal Mag Plus, Roots Excelurator, Hydroplex, Bud XL, Hygrozyme, Gravity, Purple Maxx, Dutch Master foliar line, Sweet, House and Garden Multi-Enzyme, and a couple others that I can't think of. Here are some pics of my new run with exactly what I mentioned above, without gravity though. I'm gonna start up conny on a new table to see how that works in coco.
I always feed 'less' than what they say on the bottle, I've found using the exact regimine they say on the bottle could cause problems. Plus water quality is another factor. I use a dechlorinator and ro.
Looks like some good stuff-the only product I haven't used in the past that you've posted is the AN connosuer line--I can tell you that I didn't have great luck with the H and G root accelerator-it didn't do negative things to the plants but the root growth was only minimal compared to other products like the bcuzz roots or greenfuse. and for the price of 79.00 for only 250ml it falls to the bottom of my "not to purchase again"-I see you have the VOODOO JUICE--that stuff rocks--in my opinion-my roots always explode with the use of that stuff----------note----------you can double the recommended dose and hope you have enough room in your pots for all the roots.

hi all,

i started today 12/12 light cycle, should i immediately start using the flowering nut. or just water them first for a few days

i have for the flowering fase the high yield kit from advance nutrients (sensi bloom A+B, big bud and voodoo juice)

and one more thing for any advance nutrients user:
should i stick to their nutrient calculator (the one u do in Advance N website), in other words should i use the amounts they recommend?

peace:peace:

For flowering I use a 10-52-10 solution... is that overkill?
As South Texas said "not overkill"---should be fine---Don't add anymore nitrogen, and You will want to flush heavy for the last two weeks----1. The plants will use the xtra nitrogen up in the last 2 weeks. If you don't flush the plants will stay real green and the flavor will match:spew:

Don't start the nutes for a week(that is when your AN CALENDAR will start for week 1 flowering schedule--for the first feed use 1/2 dose of recommended AN feed---Then plain water(no nutes) when they are ready for the next feed---You can now stick to the AN SCHEDUAL for every feed there-after----watch for nute burn at this point--If burn starts to show you can either go back to feeding every other watering or cut your ppms back 200-300 per feed(just add more water until your ppm's drop to the desired level.-----AN NUTES like 6.3ph for soil/5.8ph for hydro.------hope this helps you out...:blsmoke:

Hey everyone,

I have had two clones in the backyard absorbing the sunny California weather since may 1st. They got a slow start with the miracle grow they were in so I transplanted them into Fox Farms Ocean Forest.

Since then, they have been doing great and I recently purchased some Fox Farms Grow Big.

I have been feeding them foliage with the grow big and I started feeding during watering a few days ago. I've only watered once at half strength since it was my first time.

I was wondering what else I should consider?? A local hydro store has all the fox farm and Advanced Nutrients in stock so I have a good variety to choose from.

I was thinking AN Sensi Grow Part A&B and maybe some Collosal Bud blast??

maybe u guys know better then i do. :) just asking for opinions.

THanks

That Colossal BUD works very fast---100% high consentrat organic fert. Be for-warned thou the stuff smells just like liquid baby shit. They say to get the best results use mildly in the last part of veg cycle and heavy in the 2 and third week of flowering. Best results come from foiler feeding.
The GrowBig by FF is very concentrated as well----I would recommend 1/2 strenght every other watering like u have been until you start to see signs of nitrogen def---then hit them with the CBB or change your nutes to full strength at that time.

Canna and General Hydroponics are about the best value-How did you source the coco? That stuff can be very expensive compared to prepared high end soils-What are you looking to do? Are you just testing the coco or do you have a ton of it and need to find an affordable nute for use? You might find a deal on something over the Internet.

1. hydroempire has good(not great prices) you save a ton of cash when you order over 200.00---***FREE SHIPPING*** though. BG is also a good site.
2. I want in on the action if you need 5l of the rhiz--"holy-crap-batman"-that would last me 5 years.---If you think that's pricey--try 5l of root excelerator(I know I spelled that shit wrong)from H and G---250ml is 80.00.
3. Organics in general have a short shelf life compared to synthetic(a good indicator is the plastic bottles swell up with air when they go bad) Any good AN rep will tell you to always get fresh organic nutes if they are a year or more old(this is a general rule).
4. In my opinion and experience coco can be treated very similar to soil---a good watering without nutes is fine---just watch your plants as you norm would for over/under feeding.
5. If your looking at the canna line I did some research on the canna boost for another grower on this forum---the initial cost is high but the cost per application is ridiculously low-----a --grower was using 4-30 gallon res's for his 8 week cycle(sog)-480 gallons a cycle---it would cost 4.18 cents for the whole cycle----something to chew on!!!

For simple to use look into GH(GENERAL HYDRO) that would be a good place to start---
