the prison I was in was segregated. I was in closed custody so only out of my cell to work (as a teachers assistant at the second highest payrate in prison. only the factory workers making beds and clothes made more) and eat and an hour of yard every other day. I think I made .25 an hour. been awhile. cant remember. I feel like it was about $40/month. oh but they withhold half for when you get out.
I did have plenty of money on my books so i had lots of cheetoes, and a tv, and coke and cigs and coffee. Even shot some heroin with a bleached needle bought from a diabetic. Had one guy get the dope, one got the needle, one got the bleach. It was a fucking mission. but I got high in prison.
Ah thanks for letting me relive those good old days.
