Ok so this is my afghani KUSH grow, had ended the season with 3 plants, last night they were cut down 1 inch from top soil, and trimmed of fan leaves and but half way on sugar leaves. I harvested early morning way before sun came up to ensure that the sugars in the plant and the excess foods would be stored in the root system. Flushed for a week before harvesting as we'll. they are now inside drying and have been for about 28 hours or so, will dry for probably a week depends on the snap method. Can you show some up close nugs and were the buds dense or airy?

Im growing a very similar strain that is hitting week 8 flower in 3 days, I had to add molasses and didn't even start flushing yet because the buds were so airy Im beginning to think one more week of nutes then 2 weeks of flush maybe even 3 weeks because the trichs are still clear and buds are still forming late bloomer I guess

Only when you go thru it can it be appreciated how long it takes till harvest. It doesn't help that typically ya' gotta' go about another week or more beyond what the strain lists at in the online reviews. Outdoors can be fikle on finishing times, more cooler and cloudier days than usual during flowering can slow things down a bit too. But they look good considering. You will be a happy bong hitter, a just reward for all your patience.

Same here I want to harvest just so I can start my new grow everything is unopened waiting for me to use but I gotta finish my bullrider first it looks dense as hell tho.

Those buds you got there remind me of my auto, airy buds but frosty.

Ok well here ya go buddy...first it's always a good thing to make it this far..congrats ...but....it looks like you harvested too early...on your other thread you said this Sativa took 12 weeks!!! Most sativas take at least 4 months to flower, unless it's a sativa indica mix....it looks a little airy and premature like it wasn't getting enough light, but this is your first grow right, and you learned alot hopefully...I know I did with my first grow and yours looks better than my first one by far :bigjoint:so keep up the good work and learn more patients buddy...lol

Actually it's my first indoor grow witch ended outside anyway and the touchiness showed they were ready, but reguardless of the touchiness I also was battling some really heavy rain and I'm not sure they would of made it another month. Some spider mites started to get involved near the end as well and the treatment unused helped but didn't take car of the issue. I have learned a lot indeed thanks to this site but ill be doing a fourth grow very soon and hopefully can avoid many problems I occurred this go around. As always appreciate the comments and thanks for the complements

So last night I took one of the small colas I had taken of a plant in the original picture you can see it above the lighter to the right, and did the snap test to see how dry it was and to my surprise it snapped nicely. So I smoked it . And let me tell ya... WOAH. It's incredibly smooth already even before curing, and super fluffy. It burn so beautifully in my mini bong, it has a small bowl so I packed twice and at first I was just feeling good. Then I lite up a cig and before I was half way through it i was stoned.. Love it and enjoyed it can't wait to see what it's like after curing

No need to make excuses. They were your plants and you hung in as long as you could. At least a 8-10 days longer than I thought you would...LOL All the months of sacrifice, waiting and worrying, finally comes to fruition :weed: As Beretta used ta say.....and dat's da name of dat tune bongsmilie Yes, I really am that old...LOL :bigjoint:
