flushing?

I do not flush plants, only toilets. I gradually step nutes way down before harvest.
But I do believe I have heard flushers go anywhere from 14-7 days.

I keep my plants as healthy and happy and productive as I can until the very sad moment I harvest them. I have become one of those who wont (because I have a choice) smoke anyone else's grass but my own because my peak harvesting times and whole plant curing process is just really just the yummiest.

That's just one camper, everyone else's own mileage
may vary.

Flushing has nothing to do with changing flavor at all..it's to remove excess salts that build up in soil and aren't good for the roots.
So, OP wants to know if there is enough time for a flush... not if it removes the salts, from the roots... and really, salts are not good the last 10 days? I truly believe anyone that flushes, is just a beginner, that has bought into over ferting hydro store BS... OP, I am sorry for your trouble, it is a lot of us growers here, believe flushing is just for shit. I/we grow happy healthy plants from start, to finish, green the whole way... If you have added too many ferts/nutes sorry, better luck next time...

i step nutes down week 7 then use canna flush as per instructed followed buy plain water thats changed every day for the last week.

Im in DWC and i DO notice a less tastey smoke when using full whack nutes till the end, just my 2 cents.....

Flushing does nothing at harvest time. Nothing is magically washed out of your plants by dumping gallons of water on it. I can understand flushing the soil if you are having a problem during the grow but it is a waste to flush at harvest.

I heard a guy yesterday say he used 12 gallons to flush a gallon pot... where does the water go? Just wondering for all that do flush.

I am glad you posted this... I was wondering that myself... "Like where the fukk does the water go?" Floor drain? Flushing in bath tub? Flushing over toilet ? When you flush, where does all that water flowing out the bottom of your plants go?

Lol...long winded post that mentions nothing about salt buildup from using chemical nutes or any if the issues caused by those salts reaching too high of a level.

flushing isn't for flavor, it's for removing those salts before they build up in your rootzone and create problems.
if you don't over feed, no salt build up, therefore, no LEACHING is necessary.

I don't flush, I'll feed right up until harvest if they need it. I use only organics...I agree about the flushing products, waste of $.

The OP only asked if 7 days was enough to flush, he says nothing about his far along he is in his grow. If you check the feed charts of some nutrient companies you'll notice many recommend a flush before switching from veg to flower to remove any built up salts.
