Will Moving My Plant To Shade Hurt It?

My plant is starting to get noticable so im going to have to move it to a better place, the only place i have to put it is in a patch of woods, not much light if any gets threw to the ground, will this hurt my plant or keep it from getting its maximum buddage?

Yeah, it will make a big difference. If you're going from lots of sun to none your plant's growth will slow to a crawl. Without light no photosynthesis.

why dont u put the plant in a pot in one of the trees in the woods?

get awesome light and could be nice and stealthy too

Can you cut a tree down to gain more light or are you not able to do that ? Anyways no sun is BAD....

Agreed. I've read estimates of anywhere from 5-7 hours of direct sunlight as a minimum requirement for Cannabis. What I have yet to find is whether or not it matters if the plant is getting mid-day sunlight.

Can you open up the canopy at all, just cut some branches to make sunny patches? It doesn't have to necessarily be full sun. Look in my gallery and you'll see how my deck grow is going, and the plants that are on the deck itself get partial sun (mostly sun, but still, it's partly shaded by the rails as you can see).

it will probably grow but not very good you will probably get alot of stretching also

ok, i've moved my plant 4 times now. if the only spot you have to put it is in the woods I'd try to find a part with like a butt-load of tiny little 5-8 feet tall trees, then just clip then with bush trimmers. i've done that a couple times and it seemed to work just don't cut to much, you don't wanna be to noticeable.

this is an excellent idea homey. If you have your plants in 3 or 5 gallon "grow bags", putting them in trees is ideal for several reasons. But mostly better light, and the "rip-off" element is almost totally eliminated too! I grew one year in trees on Maui. It was perfect, "rip-offs" look downwards not upwards!!! Plus the plant growth was awesome.

my plant gets shade from six a.m. to nine a.m. the gets full on sun till bout nine p.m. , then to finish the 18/6 hour cycle i putt it indoors under a cfl for three more hours. is this ok ? or will the change in light effect it?
