heard good things about nirvana, but really not needed w that line up. AN likes to really add on products for their lines. I wanted to go all out when i first bought the products but luckily didnt have all the money for em. grow shop guy talked into buying gmb 3part pH balanced, big bud, bud candy and overdrive; gave me free sample bottle of b-52. love the products, easy to use, great results (so far, still got few days til harvest); however, i'm going organic for all my next grows for taste (since i'm personal grower). There is an amazing grow report out there from someone who used like 8 diff nute companies and 10 diff runs to figure out which were the best nutes out there. Earth Juice, Advanced Nutrients, and Canna were the top 3 finishers for almost every category. If i can find it, then i'll post a link up here.
id love to read that if you can find it kronic

hey thanks alot man. great post. im gonna try and make a post today to not derail this thread. but i as mentioned will be running a ph'd plant next run to spread my wings so to speak and really learn whats going on and why. and since i will be monitoring my own ph that leaves me with many options on what i want to do

i cant pm you buddy so unfortunately i have to communicate like this. but while looking for a supplier of unsulphered molasses here in canada. i found a website called gardenerspantry.ca and i found what i needed for cheap. but what i also found was these guys apparently make and sell some amazing organic ferts and alot more for what looks cheap to me, and even if not what ill save on shipping will make it cheap.

but more importantly there stuff looks amazing. theyre fert line up seems simple

and at ten to twenty bucks a liter it seems very affordable, and theyre literature leads me to believe theyre products are top rate.

now here is my real question. as im a total newb shooting for the stars as far as wanting to do a good job. ok, so say i start out using cana flora base nutes. or gh, something like that. and i choose to use the organic ferts offered on that site. am i set? or are there still additives that i "need" in conjunction to perform as well as the line up im using now?

cause when i go to a website like planetnatural.com looking for what i want to possibly use it becomes overwhelming. any help would be so greatly appreciated as you guys can tell. thanks

Bless

What people (usually beginners) don't realize is that foods like Miracle Grow or some other tub of cheap dry food in the hands of an experienced grower will do just as well as the highest priced snake oil found in your hydro shop.
This is the key point...an experienced grower can see and react to what is going on and has the ability to solve problems, sometimes even before they happen. They know what issues will arise using generic house and garden products, they know that the manufactures quality control isn't where we would like it. This all comes into play on how smooth your operation runs. IMO for newer growers buying a quality product like GH, AN, or Dyna because they have a much better track record with their quality of their products. I am not endorsing any of them, they are all good. The only manufacture of cannabis specific though is AN(Advance Nutrients), Cannabis specific meaning they only test their products on cannabis for the cannabis market...makes me wonder why they are the only ones? Once a grower has experience and understands then, yes by all means nutes are nutes.

Well most of them test on Cannabis, they just don't tell you about it to keep any possible conspiracy charges down. AN only really says Medical Cannabis they would never ( unless the state/province has legalized) say its for general cannabis growing.
