OLD GROW 3.0...

Never got to post the harvest results :wall:

got a little over 30 grams for the two plants. The buds were more loose than I thought (maybe b/c I harvest a couple of weeks early). The smoke wasn't THAT bad, kind of harsh tho. All the plants were removed from the cabinet and I turned if off till Today (almost 2 months). Worked on it for the last week trying to get it better and I think I did. (Main issue was heat/ventilation).

Took me 3 grows to finally have some own medicine. It was worth the wait and time invested for the knowledge that I got out of it. Can't wait to see my next run (4.0) results!!

NEW GROW 4.0...

Cabinet changes: Cabinet was moved to a AC cooled room, changed my intake fan from my veg area (the only one that isn't a PC fan), cleaned the cabinet, Doubled my lights on the veg area (from 2 cfls per plant, to 4 cfls per plant). No work done on the flowering area but I do want to make it a SCROG & add at least 4-5 more CFLs (from 6 to 10-12).

What are we growing? Clones. I have to wait one month to get them. (Currently 1 week old seedlings @ my friend's house).

Strains Available: Blue Thai, Cotton Candy, Afghan Kush, Deep Cheese & Critical Kush. Any suggestions?

Soil/Nutes: Both MG

As of Today, I have 1 bag seed/random seedling (2 days old). Need a name for her... growing this bag seed will make waiting for the clones a little nicer.

This run focus on the clones once I get them. I will keep you guys updated on the bad seed for now.

Still waiting for the clones...

Here is my little seedling that I planted to have something while the clones get here. She looks more Indica dom. Fim'ed her Today @ her 4th node.

That's a cute lil indica. I recently sprouted what looks like a indica dominant. I usually don't get lucky enough to get indicas (all my buddies do somehow lol). I'll stick around and compare from time to time bro.

1st dose of nutrients Yesterday with 1/4 strength of MG

2- FIM Recovery (after 4 days, kind of stunned the first 2.5 days)

I'm tired of waiting for the clones, seriously!!! I'm kind of an impatient person so I just ordered some seeds. They probably will take around 15-25 days to be delivered as my country has some of the tightest shipping security systems. Cross your fingers for me.

Out of those choices I would choose Afghan Kush.. very potent stuff.

I will still wait on the clones, see how they look and just pick the best looking strain. I'm really looking forward to my seeds.

just found a seed on the bottom of the jar of the last oz that I bought, is either Sour Diesel or OG Kush. not sure. it's currenty sitting on a glass with water. Looks like we have two plants now and I haven't received my clones or my seeds... I think I might grab a HPS to flower some of them outside my cabinet, not sure...
(that oz is for personal use btw, I don't sell shit to anyone, every time I find some good strain I buy an OZ and just stash it! gotta love variety)

thanks man! anything that I can help you with just let me know.

I'm trying to keep this journal going, documenting my progress run after run. Looking forward to experiment the difference of good genetics/strain & different techniques. This is the only week that I have to prepare the cab for the scrob/next run.(flower/lower area of the cabinet). Progress so far = test fitted the "net". It's 8'' from top of pot to net & have up to 16'' from net to lights. Hope it works! I will use this scrog with the SoS seeds. (still waiting for tracking #) All CFLs grow, of course.

Want to pop two seeds when they get here, any "requests"? ( Post #89)

I'll definitely be picking your brain at some point. I put in my request for the widows - just because I want to see them in that cab haha. Any word on the clones?

El nino and big bang genetically look very similar big bang looks like an attempt at another "shark strain" meaning skunk x northern lights. Nino is great white shark I believe with a haze and big bang looks like a shark back cross by crossing el nino with another skunk x nl. .. might as well run the widow first. Then big bang and nino. Widow is going to be fairly similar as its the mother of the great white shark meaning it makes up bout half the genetics... my second choice would be the cheese over the gold, they are both supposed to give you a nice up sativa high yet a warm relaxing buzz, but the cheese will have that exceptional skunk cheese funk and the gold...well idk probly hashy berry but the widow is already a nice fruity bud that is also a bit sedating...my 2 cents

the mother plants are still veggin', I will go and check on them this week and post a picture. (they aren't top or anything at all, I have to wait for the inter node growth.)

I had 0 knowledge about their genetics inheritance. + rep!

I was thinking of running the Cheese. The WW seems to be a good choice to run with it. I guess we are having a first run with Cheese + WW soon. No tracking # from SoS yet.


EDIT: have to spread some rep before giving to you...

W.W. & Auto Super Bud @ glass of water for 12 hours then into peat pellets.

BagSeed & OG Kush on Day 3 of 12/12... waiting for sex... :-|
