How is that any different than a hermi just pollinating it's self and other females. You stress the plant in one way or another producing male pollen sacks and then pollinate females with them.. and as far as I know a female plant with a male pollen sack is considered a hermaphrodite.there was a post about a week ago about feminizing seeds. Using a solid silver dollar and an electrical current. Some how the electrical currrent through the water and silver put some of the silver into the water. Then you feed that water to your female plant and she makes pollen sacks, like a Hermi. Then you use that female pollen that has no male genetics in it, to breed with another female. And presto!!! Feminized seeds. Do a search its a interesting thread. I am too lazy to do the process, or for that fact even find the link for you
In genetics you have 50% from each parent. In cases of 90% of the seeds out there, the parents are male and female. So, you have male genetics in that seed. When you force a female to flower, without converting to a hermi, but still producing pollen, you have straight female genetics. This is done i think, after the plant turns female. Then you have 50/50 both parents female. No male genetics to pass on.How is that any different than a hermi just pollinating it's self and other females. Did the hermie pop and distribute pollen or did you catch it beforehand?ok so I got a question. If I have a full garden from clone so I know they were girls. Then I brought in a mystery strain like a dumb ass, it ended up being a hermi, I noticed too late, it caused about then plants around it to have seeds on it, it was good bud, but seeded. Was this because of the hermi? And if so are those seeds a cross of my female (carnival from ministry of cannabis) and the mystery strain?
Garden is indoor, yeah the hermie did pop, the seeds that showed up on my true girls are dark brown and healthy but on super dank bud.Did the hermie pop and distribute pollen or did you catch it beforehand?
Was your garden indoor or outdoor?
