I have a 12 x 12 room with a closet and a grow tent (tent is NOT in the closet). I dont zip the tent as the temps are too hot with it closed. I have 3 plants ready to switch to the 12/12 flower cycle in the tent and 6 clones on a 24 hour cycle in the closet. With the closet doors closed there is a sliver of light coming through the closet door. Its just a small amount and it doesnt APPEAR to be reaching the tent
. So my question is this
. Do I need to be worried about that sliver of light or is it insufficient to cause a problem with the dark period for my flowering plants? My first thought is that it shouldnt matter as even outdoor plants get moonlight
. But then again
its my first time growing indoors so I thought I better ask.
I do have a plan already to get rid of the sliver of light Ive put up a shower curtain rod inside the closet and I plan on hanging a black plastic curtain on it once I go to home depot and grab some grommets for the plastic to keep it from ripping while hanging.
So should I start the cycle now or wait until I get the plastic up? Remember its just a sliver of light through the doors.
