Recommendations for dense tasty buds.

I'm using the general organics GO BOX right now and heard some people weren't happy with it through the flowering cycle. Didn't give very thick buds. What would you guys recommend?

I would recommend you worry about growing "Big Roots" first... then some really "big leaves" ... then the "big bud" will follow... Good Luck !

I'm sorry. What was that about GO not producing Fat tasty nugs?

Try using them AS DIRECTED. add a little SWEET or FloraNectar/Diamond to the Nutrient solution...

becuz even with just base shitty cutting edge nutes im pullin weight, density and potency.

here are the factors you want to look at.

strain. some yield well some dont. you need to look for "the one" that will give you the bulk and potency you want. you gotta search for it becuz it wont find you. lights. i use 1000 watters for veg. and flower the more light the better. but they have to be at the proper distance to close and they bleach to far away and they stretch and end up fluffy buds. temps. my temps stay around 73-75 degrees in my grow area. to hot and the plants will have light fluffy buds. to cold and they wont grow fast enough to be large. root mass. the bigger and better the roots are the bigger and better your buds will be. give them something worthy of sucking those nutes up. proper feeding. you cant overfeed or underfeed. otherwise you stunt. underfeed they dont get the full potential. overfeed and you burn leaves, roots and shock the fuck out of the plant. finally ph. get that shit where it needs to be so your plant will actually absorb the nutrients it needs. different ph's whether it be high or low will cause some nutrients if not all to not be sucked up and used.

However that wasn't his point. His point was when you know how to grow. nute brands don't matter.

I don't know anything about those nutrients, but I'd be interested to learn more. Are you thinking about another nutrient brand? The only one I know anything about is Advanced Nutrients.

But if you're not looking for another nutrient, I would check and recheck the directions of the nutrient, see what they say, make adjustments as needed, and keep watching your plants. THey will quickly tell you if you're doing something right or not.

Also, you need to remember that plants don't instantly adjust to changes in your grow. They need some time, so this might just be a case when you need to wait things out to see what happens.

Gorgeous plants! im not speaking out of experience, I was told that the GO BOX doesn't work very well through flowering. You're using the GO BOX? or GO in general? Also I've tried using the box as instructed and my plants burnt to a crisp so I lightened it by over half.
A little info of my grow: Stealth grow inside a dresser using 4 cfl bulbs. 4 100w (26w) 6500k for veg and 2 150w (43w) 2500k, 2 3500k 100w (23w) for flower. planning on putting 2 more 150w in place of the 2 100w. Soil is FFOF... never seen temps over 86*F but the usually stay under 80*F Strain is blue dream, just a bag seed.

Morning all!

I have a quick Noob nutrient question I need some help with. I'm currently using Formulex Nutrients, check the link.....

http://www.hydroponics-hydroponics.com/pd-formulex.cfm

Not where I bought if from but it's the same stuff. Anyway, I've got 3 seedlings at 11 days old not and I've used the nutrient solution twice in seven days, is this enough or is it too little? How often should I be using the stuff?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Peace :peace:

I've got a bunch of BD clones and the mother going right now. with 12 other strains. 48 plants total.
I never burn my girls. i use rapid rooter plugs to start the seeds. and plant into Sunshine mix #4.
using nutes for week 1 as directed.
Before i used to use, CocoGro and then just recently in the majority of this grow ReadyGro.
but i just transplanted all the plants for the flip and couldn't afford $25 for 4-6 plants...
I now LOVE Sunshine #4, everything is thriving...

What soil you have? probably had nutes in it already and that caused the burn. Happened to me before with FFoF.

Anyways. 5am here. i need to get some fuckin sleep. Take Care.

My friend gave me some of this ''bud hardener'' called Mendocino Avalanche.

I was talking about how my colas were thick but not dense. However, his are super dense and filled in.
I think they're at like week 5 or 6, honestly tho they're outside and I just let them grow.

We both use Maxsea for nutes, but he also has the hardener and other stuff like kool bloom I think it was.
