Keep for future reference.
Money is on Zink, P or K deff.
Id hit them with more Dyna, and if its the latter two it'll solve it.
Best place to start would be to check the ph of your soil, so you can eliminate any lockout problems, then go from there. I use ph test strips and ph the first little bit of runoff. I don't trust many of the ph meters out there. Let us know MD.
Since you have taken cuttings recently, then noticed the problem, this could also be a fungal infection known as "ring spot", along with several other names. I've used neem oil in the past to control it. It comes as a concentrate, sold at Walmart, goes by the name, "Garden Safe Fungicide 3". If you use this, just a light spray is fine, don't over do it. I know this is not fun at times, but It can be a very good way to learn. Good Luck !
Well, It sounds like you have a good plan in place that makes sense MD. If I had an experience like that with the neem oil, I'd be gun shy too. Good luck my friend and let me know when you find some extra room in that closet of yours. lol Oh, I almost forgot this:http://www.420magazine.com/forums/f...abis-plant-pest-problem-solver-pictorial.html Another very good trouble shooter loaded with some very good information, in addition to the wonderful info here on riu of course. lol![]()

Yes...I have had 4 cups of coffee this morning![]()
Oh, TRAINWRECK, now there's one that will put ya on the couch with a big smile on your face ! hahaha
Glad to hear your ph is right in there where it should be MD, and that you have learned how important it can be from experience.(the best teacher imo)
I would not cut that leaf. It's making a contribution to your plant, you said it has not gotten worse, and it could very well have nothing to do with a fungus at all.
If you did decide to cut the leaf, no, it would not get rid of a fungal infection. they are very hard, if not impossible, to get rid of entirely once they get their start within your plant.
Don't let that bother you as they can usually be controlled very easily with anything from homemade treatments to commercial fungicides.
I think it's great that you decided to mix your own soil without the nutes this time. This will also help you down the road and give you a better understanding of things like soil texture and soil additives as a whole.
So tell me more, what is your water source ?, has it been tested ?, how many watts of cfl are you using ?, and what Dyna-Gro formula are you using ? (good choice imo) Is there a chance the plant is starting to become root bound ?, How many waterings is the plant getting between feedings ? You know, some of that really good stuff ! lol![]()
Thanks MD, I know all those questions are a pain in the butt. I wanted to get a feel for what level you are at and try to pick up on something that might not be right. Not that I'm even close to being any kind of expert on any of this.
Sounds to me like your doing every thing right and the Grow formula is the one I love to use all the way through, unless my girls tell me otherwise. ( they do sometimes ) LOL !
Dyna gro is very good imo, it's complete, lower in salts than many, and the big thing is that all the nutes are in ratios that make very good sense. That is huge when it comes to preventing problems down the road. .
Looking at your plant, I think it looks good and healthy with no signs of a nitrogen def (more common) at all. Keep an eye on her, just like you have been and look for any response to the higher nutes. Don't change anything else in the meantime if you can help it ! Basic, simple, and in most cases less is more, my friend. Don't sweat anything, after all, this should be fun and enjoyable. I for one, have issues just like yours with my plants all the time.
Now about that TRAINWRECK, are you absolutely sure that it wasn't "that kind of TRAINWRECK" ? Those uuum, slightly horizontal oriented pictures of your "very nice" plant made me visualize you laying on the couch, taking those same pictures, with a big ole smile on your face..... No ??lmao
HAHAHA ! It's Dat Freaking TRAINWRECK MD, I'm Tellen Ya LMAO !!
If you really don't have a clue and you are enjoying yourself MD, Well thats a wonderful way to "FLY" good for you. LOL !!
Now, as far as me getting a "FEEL". Well, I'm not even going near that one, my friend ! HAHAHAHA !!![]()
