Where would you be without weed?

Well I'm a little baked and just thinking about the positives that have come from marijuana in my own life. We all hear people talking about weed as though it is dope. That weed smokers are dumb, spacey, and lazy.

Well I, for one, am far from lazy and have excelled at my scholastic endeavors all while smoking hellah weed.

I've found "myself" and with it, peace, mainly because of the therapeutic properties of ganja.

I can say that for many years I was an alcoholic and had to drink everyday to prevent the withdraw effects, and without good weed I would never have broken the lifeless zombie state of drunkenness. Weed has also chilled my hot Irish temper. So I paraphrase Mr. Bob Marley;
Ganja is like a mirror to the soul, if you do something immoral, once you get high and look at yourself in a mirror that evil will be all you see. You can't hide from it when you are high.

Anyone care to share their appreciation of ganja, or want to play devil's advocate by stating why you think ganja is not so cool, although it would be strange for someone on a weed forum to be against weed, but you never know.

Agreed. Considering my enviroment i think without weed id be unhappy and a complete asshole.

I have bi polar disorder,ptsd and anxietywhich is why I'm on disability.Without weed I'm pretty sure I'd be dead by my own hand. Good smoke helps with the depression that comes with Bipolar. And it lessens my anxiety. Nothing works for the ptsd so I try and avoid situations that may cause it to exacerbate. All in all weed is the best medicine for me although I still have to take other meds.

Without weed (and other drugs) I wouldn't have became interested in pharmacology. Wouldn't have thought about designing drugs, wouldn't have gone to college, wouldn't have a degree or a wife(maybe) wouldn't have an awesome job giving 100k a year...and I wouldn't know all the wonders that come with being high....I enjoy life more with it and it has made me successful

There's nothing simple about anything at all by that logic. It's all relative. Compared to me, a plant like weed is indeed pretty simple.

Addicted to prescription pain pills or dead. Cannabis helps me maintain an enjoyable and function able life. I could never put into words how grateful I am for the plant and the people who risk their freedom every day to help others. For those of you who do it for the right reasons and not just for the $$$ may you stay safe and keep on keepin on.
