New to growing... how many plants, grow style

As the title says I have some questions with my first grow... I have a 4' wide 6' long and 6' high grow room.. I am using 6, 4 foot t8 flouro's and a soil less growing medium... I am wondering how many plants and what style of growing (I.e. normal, scrog, sog ect...) would get the best yield and quality?

Yeah go for t5s on the lights if going for florescent lighting. and prolly twice as many. If you have another room id do sog. just so you can keep everything short. If you only have one room, try more plants, with less bud per plant, so start budding early, and top, to keep everything short. I have never tried it but i dont think t8s do it for budding.

Thanks guys... I am actually using 6, 2 bulb ballasts so actually there will be 12, 2800 lumen bulbs at 6500k for the flowering stage... Is that sufficient for the size of the room?

I started in hydro too lol and going to try another soil grow for the first time in years, just cause its less hassle, alot easier. Less spent on start up. brass did you have something to invest? cause i would agree, if hes low on funds, spend them on the light rather then hydro.

Light is number 1. I'd rather do soil under the right light than hydro under the wrong light.
