My system is LPA and loving it...I've read what he says...nothing to back it up....just ideas. Again...show me better than normal HPA (as mine is, not LPA) and ill quietly continue to upgrade.

You need to speak up prof this is the information we all need to know......And I've mentioned that feeding idea over a year ago. Short bursts to develop and then feed heavily while everyone preached the less than 2 sec feed.
I run 6 under a 1000 watt t5 and yes running chiller, c02, dehumidifier,ac garden area measured just under light 4x4 room size 12x12 total yield is dependent on the strain I will take the plunge later when lights come on and post some pics of the complete system. Here is a quick run down 32 3 way solenoids, 2 iwaki 30 RLZT pumps 1 iwaki 40 rlt pump 1 4 md pump 2 mag drive 950 pumps 6 stage RODI system lab grade air pump, micro diffuser air stone, complete sealed and recirculating system. How many plants? How mnay watts? What is your garden area sq ft? Are you using co2? And what is your total yield?
So what is your t5 yield that kicks my ass?!!I run 6 under a 1000 watt t5 and yes running chiller, c02, dehumidifier,ac garden area measured just under light 4x4 room size 12x12 total yield is dependent on the strain I will take the plunge later when lights come on and post some pics of the complete system. Last go 2.5 and like I said 18 days veg some strains need only 14 days veg things get out of control fast. Reason I like t5s is even coverage no hot spots. Not knocking your system seems like you got it dialed in and when you add c02 then the tides will change I'm sure. Need to invest in some raptor hoods myself and see the difference. So what number is kicking my ass?! What are you yielding with t-5's? Because I used a 16 bulb bad boy for last go around and my hid's doubled the yield. Still without co2.
Sounds good keep up the good fight...All that equipment sounds fancy! I only have 1 pump to the chiller and 1 HP pump, no solenoids, no air pump, no co2. I grew for 3 years under t5s...I know the lumens and light penetration. If what you say is true...then it may be some record...ever. but I gave up on t5s because the yield from hid's was no match. When I start with co2...we'll see how much ass kickin your doin! And I only run 2 plants in a smaller space. Challenge accepted.
From my experience, same strain, same nutes, same environment, HIDs beat T5s hands down. If your getting that much (ah hem), then HIDs will knock your socks off.Last go 2.5 and like I said 18 days veg some strains need only 14 days veg things get out of control fast. Yes I run 2 16 bulbs and just use a 50 50 mix of quantum veg, flower bulbs nothing special. I keep them real close to the tops for max penetration. C02 and max oxygen saturation is what's making it happen for me. Also with a sealed system I bring in fresh oxygen from outside for my root chambers via air pump. Are you using a 16 bulb?
One for each 62 16s?? Each one is 980 watts....so you have 1960 total watts for 6 plants?
No comment only fictional experience in my mind lol this is a legal medical grow throw away any and all overages in my fictional experiencesAnd each 6 is giving you 2.5 lbs so your pulling 5 lb harvests?
